Departing

"About time!" Heather says as Ashley, Chloe and Victoria emerge from down the steps toward the lake with Brandon struggling behind carrying the cooler himself, "We should be all set to go!"

"We had to make sure we had enough food and drink." Vicky replies to the cheer captain, "Gonna be a good picnic!"

"Hopefully you ladies packed more than just ****, yeah?" Zack asks, looking up at the clear blue skies knowing it'll get hot and they'll need to stay hydrated.

"Oh come on, Zack!" Ashley steps up to the boy, "We packed your cheap ass beer which is basically water anyway." she teases, giving him a grin.

"Har de har..." he grumbles out as he turns back towards the canoes, "So, we need to fit four in each canoe. Are we all going to the park right away or does one group want to go someplace else first?"

"Should go to the park first and unload but we can take our time going there, paddle around the lake, look at the other cabins, take in the scenery." Heather takes control of the situation, "Then eventually meet up at the park and split up as needed. Zack and I want to go fishing so anybody is welcome to join, the rest can hike, play in the park, explore the campgrounds, whatever." she shrugs.

"Sounds like a plan, Stan!" Gavin says, unsure why he called Heather, Stan. Mainly because it just rolled off his tongue but he gets a curious glance from the dark haired girl.

"Kurt and I will each take a canoe only IF for some reason you dumb shits get lost on the way." she laughs out loud, "At least he knows where he's going although it's not too hard to find the campground," she turns around and points off into the distance, "Across the lake, around that little peninsula of land and then back in that far corner."

"Well of course Ashley and I will be together." Brandon sets the cooler down before stepping up to his girlfriend, throwing an arm around her shoulder, "Who wants to be with us?"

"Uhh..." Ashley reaches up and grabs his wrist from over her shoulder, she picks it up and removes it from her body, "Umm, no mister, I'm still mad at you!" she says, giving him a sassy look.

"Oh babe, come onnnn..." he groans out, "Don't be like that. I cleaned our room up, no harm no foul, booze happens." which causes his girlfriend to squint and glare back at him as only her and Gavin know what actually happened to the girl.

"Nope. It's final! Heather, I'm with you!" she nods, stepping up to her captain, "Brandon, go with Kurt!" she brushes her boyfriend off.

"Baaaaabe!!!" Brandon groans again, "Come on!"

Gavin immediately recognizes a perfect situation, "Hey Zack, let's canoe together, let's just go with Heather, yeah?" he says loud enough for the group to hear as he looks at his best friend.

"Yeah sure bud!" Zack replies without a second thought, "So Heather, Ashley, Gavin and Myself in one canoe, Kurt, Victoria, Chloe and Brandon in another?" he narrows it down, "Sound good?"

"Sounds great to me!" Gavin immediately replies, happy that he was able to talk his way into sharing a canoe with not only the girl he's been lusting over since he got to the cabin but also able to share a canoe with a girl he's always had fantasies about, that secret crush of his, Heather.

Ashley grants Gavin a questioning look but doesn't press the issue or complain at all, instead she agrees, "Sounds good!"

Kurt only grins as he not only gets to go with Victoria and continue his advances on her but also gets Chloe, the girl who just sucked his cock off earlier this morning. He didn't have much thought about Brandon besides the poor boy couldn't hold his liquor and passed out early, he didn't think much of it. "Sounds good to me, Brandon and I get the hotties in our canoe!"

"Yeah he does!" Victoria chimes in, stepping up to Chloe and pulling her towards Kurt, "All aboard the USS Smokeshow!" she jests, giving their canoe a name and in the process causing some of her friends to roll their eyes are the normally quiet and timid yet now much more vocal and confident Victoria Walker.

"Hell yeah!" Kurt replies, "I'm captain of the USS Smokeshow, we've got our two smoking hot ladies and then we have our cabin boy, Brandon!" he laughs, slugging the boy in the arm.

"Hey!" Brandon rubs his arm, "Why can't I be like the co-captain or something? Why do I have to be a cabin boy!"

"Cabin boys can have fun too..." Chloe tells him, being flirtatious with him, although slightly unsure why she did as she knows he's with Ashley.

"Don't worry Cabin boy! The captain can share his ladies with you if you want!" Kurt moves between Chloe and Vicky, wrapping an arm around each and pulling them in close. Both girls immediately brings their heads down and each rest them on the side of Kurt's shoulders and damn does it make him feel like a God at this point.

"Fine, if you're the Smokeshow, we're the..." Heather begins only to turn around, looking at her group, "Any ideas?" she questions.

"We could be the USS Iowa." Gavin replies, "It's the biggest and most powerful Battleship in the United States which would tell the other group that we are basically the best?" the nerdy boy shares his knowledge, "Did you know it is the most powerful battleship class ever in the United States Navy, equipped with, I believe nine 16-inch guns that could fire nuclear shells! How cool is that? It's the only American ship in history with this capability!"

The other three stare with a glaze over their eyes at the boy as he shares his knowledge of the US Navy.

"S-Sorry..." he grumbles with a hard gulp, "You guys have any better ideas?"

With a devious grin on her face, Heather turns around to the other group, "You know what, you may be the USS Slutshow..." she teases, "Err, sorry I mean the USS Smokeshow, but we're the USS Iowa!" she stomps her foot down at the other group are slightly confused, "It's only the biggest and most powerful Battleship in the United States! It has nine 16-inch guns that could fire nuclear shells! How badass are we?!" Heather folds her arms across her chest and steps back, looking at the other group.

The other group looks on, kinda stunned by the drop of knowledge, "That's actually pretty cool." Vicky says first.

"Yeah, that's neat." Brandon replies.

"Didn't know my cousin was so smart!" Kurt gives her an approving nod.

"Way to go Heather!" Chloe smiles, "Guess you and Gavin were meant to be! He loves that kinda stuff as well!" the red head smiles back at her friend before looking at Heather.

"Y-Yeah..." Heather looks over her shoulder and looks at Gavin and mouths the words, "Sorry" at him before giving him a grin. She then turns back to the other group, "Alright all, let's get outta here! Take your time if you want but either way, we'll eventually meet up at the park, unload our stuff there and then go our separate ways."

With acknowledgement from the other seven friends, each group of four moves toward their canoes, packing the stuff in and getting ready to depart.
