Eyes in the dark

You see Yasmin by the entryway to the cockpit, she seems too frightened to enter the room.

"Yasmin, what is it?" you ask, worried as to what it will be.

"So as I was trying to establish a connection with The Asteria I felt like I was being watched" She starts to explain "I could not shake the feeling, but I could not see anything."

She seems to be regaining her composure, "Then I looked outside, and I saw two red eyes staring back at me."

"What?" you ask, heading cautiously towards the window.

Looking outside you see the eternal night, the snow is falling down in almost blizzard-like conditions with every bit reflecting a lit bit of the light given off by the ship.

"I don-" you stop when you see it, walking around the ship is a kneeled over, almost ape-like creature.

The creature has white fur covering its body, its eyes, the size of small plates, glowing a bright red light. It has sharp almost razor-sharp teeth in it's grinning mouth. It kneels there being around Five and a half feet tall; however, it has a more muscular body, like a gorilla on steroids.

"What is it?" Yasmin asks.

"I don't know" as you say that the creature seems to lose interest and walks away.

It seems to smile as it leaves, and it walks away on its knuckles like a gorilla. As it walks away, it's coat changes from a white, to a grey, and finally, as it steps out of the light into a deep dark black.

"Yasmin, I'll stay here in case it comes back," you say, you're terrified yourself; however, you put on a brave face for Yasmin.

"Great," she says, "I'll get with Haruka and see what we can do."
