Ellie's Magical Girl's Night

A few weeks ago Ellie and some friends jokingly attempted to cast a magical spell to give Ellie the ability to turn invisible at will.

( A few weeks ago ) - Late One night

Ellie and her friends Mindy, Justine, Alissa, and Victoria were hanging out at Alissa’s house watching television in her living room.

Alissa, Ellie, and Victoria are sitting on the sofa while Mindy and Justine are each sitting in nearby chairs.

Feeling bored with watching television Alissa suggests doing something else.

Ellie, Victoria, Justine, and Mindy all ask at nearly the same time :

What do you want to do Alissa?

To which Alissa says :

Wait here. I'll be right back.

Ellie, Victoria, Justine, and Mindy watch as Alissa gets up and leaves the room.

Ellie, Victoria, Justine, and Mindy hear Alissa walk towards her bedroom and assume that she's getting something out of her room.

Moments later Alissa returns to the living room carrying what looks like a really old book in her arms.

Ellie, Victoria, Justine, and Mindy watch as Alissa sits the book down gently.

Alissa then says :

About a month or so ago I found this book just laying on the ground in the nearby park.
Feeling curious I picked it up and started reading it. Upon reading it I realized that it is a book of magic spells.

Upon hearing this Ellie, Victoria, Justine, and Mindy immediately ask/say to Alissa :

Do you actually expect us to believe that you found a book of actual working magic spells?

To which Alissa replies :

I'll prove to you they work. Besides even if they don't, don't y'all think it would be fun to pretend like they do?

To which Ellie, Victoria, Justine, and Mindy say :

You have a point, Alissa. What do we have to do?

To which Alissa answers :

Well, for starters the spell that I have picked out for us will give whichever one of us we cast it on the ability to turn invisible at will. Doesn't that sound awesome?

To which Ellie, Victoria, Justine, and Mindy say :

Whoa, that would be Awesome.

To which Alissa responds :

So, who wants to be the one we cast the spell on?

Always being the risk taker of the group Ellie says :

I volunteer. What do I have to do ?
