Brian Stumbles Upon Rachel

Brian, JJ, and Kailyn did their best to run towards the lodge, all picking up in haste as snow began to fall around them, "Shit, shit, shit, shit," Brian hissed out under his breath, "We aren't gonna be able to stop, okay guys? We need to get back to the lodge before the storm hits. If we're stuck out here, we're done."

"What about the others?" Kailyn asked causing Brian to go silent as they kept running, "Brian?"

"Brian answer her," JJ pushed,

"Just keep going, okay?" Brian snapped back before returning to his silent state.

"We're not going back the same way we came," Kailyn whispered over to JJ,

"I know," JJ nodded back,

Meanwhile, Rachel had made her way back up her trail, now a good twenty minutes away from the watchtower, "Oh for fuck sakes, girl, why would you fucking wander off?" Rachel grumbled out before irritably sighing, "You're in the fucking woods, what are you fucking doing?!" She suddenly barked out while spinning around, "Yo, Zoey! Get your ass over here!" She called out before waiting, "Zooooooeeeeey!" Rachel called out again,

The blonde girl waited for a few minutes, trying to listen for a response or maybe even the sound of the girl approaching but still, she heard nothing, "Ugh, why the fuck..." Rachel hissed under her breath before returning to her actual search, now angry that she may not be able to find the girl, as well as slightly concerned.

Another thirty minutes past as Rachel continued to wander around the path they took, expecting to find something about Zoey that would show where she wandered off or maybe just finding the girl herself, but since then it began to snow and with the snow, their old tracks began to get covered up. Suddenly Rachel heard the crunching of snow coming towards her, "Zoey, where the fuck did you-Brian?!" Rachel exclaimed in shock as she spotted her brother sprinting towards her, "What the fuck are you doing here?"

"Oh thank Christ, you're here," Brian said while giving his sister a quick hug before grabbing her hand, "C'mon, we need to move," He said while taking a deep breath, glancing back to Kailyn and JJ who were trying to keep up, "Let's go we're getting close, we can't stop!" He called out to the pair,

"What the fuck are you talking about, let me go," Rachel grunted while ripping her arm away from Brian's hold,

"Rachel this is not the fucking time, you need to listen to me for once. There is a fucking storm on its way, and if we are out here we could fucking die!" Brian barked out causing Rachel's eyes to widen, "Yeah, so let's fucking go, right now!"

"We-we can just...Zoey wandered off, Anna and Eric are back at the fucking tower, and Kenny's out here wandering around! We can't leave them!" Rachel exclaimed,

"How far is the tower?" Brian asked with a long glare,

"Um...at least forty minutes away," Rachel replied after a moment,

"No, sorry, not possible. We're only a few minutes ahead of this storm, and if we lose the fucking trail if we're out here when it starts, we need to go," Brian sharply replied while grabbing Rachel's arm and pulling her along,

"Brian!" Kailyn exclaimed in shock,

"Dude we can't just leave them out here," JJ shouted out,

"Anna and Eric will be fine, those towers were built to last, and they all come with a fire stove, they can last the night," Brian explained as he leads the three forward,

"What about Zoey!" Rachel pointed out,

"And Ken, he has a trail leading right to him, the flags remember? We can follow it and-" JJ began to suggest,

"No! I know this fucking sucks, but we. Can. Not. Get. Them!" Brian barked out, "We will end up trapped, and if we end up trapped, we're just as screwed. They...I'm so fucking sorry, but Kenny and Zoey are on their own. I pray to god that they find the lodge or another tower before the storm hits, but we can't find them, we need to fucking go!" Brain firmly said to the other, "Now!" He screamed out causing the others to lower their heads,

"He's right..." Kailyn lowly whispered,

"We don't have time," Rachel agreed,

"Fuck," JJ whispered, "Fuck!" He shouted before storming past the others, heading back towards the lodge.

Brian let out a slow breath of relief, before quickly running forward, once again leading his group back towards the lodge. Another twenty minutes past and the storm was getting worse, by the time they reached the edge of the woods the snow was starting to block everything in sight, but the four could just barely make out the outline of the lodge, "Let's go, we're almost there!" Brian exclaimed as he and Rachel ran forward,

"JJ, let's go!" Kailyn begged her younger brother who turned around, looking back at the forest,

"Kenny! Kenny!" JJ called out, "Zoey! Kenny! Can you hear me?!" JJ screamed out, trying to will a response,

"JJ they aren't there, C'mon, we have to get inside!" Kailyn said as she pulled a **** JJ back away from the woods,

"Ken, get back to the lodge! Zoey, if you hear my voice come towards it!" JJ continued to shout as Kailyn pulled him away, "Guys come on! Say something if you hear me! Please!" He begged a final time before spinning around and running towards the lodge, nearly heartbroken.
