Nicole And Mindy Have A Bonding Moment

Mindy's face was nearly pale white as she waited for Nicole to return, and as it turned out, she only had to wait about three minutes. The redhaired party girl burst back into her room and ran over, hopping back onto the couch with a wide smile, "Okay," Nicole grinned, "I'm ready, let's hear about your story."

"Nicole, no...I don't even let Kenny read my stuff," Mindy quietly murmured back,

"Yeah, I bet you don't," Nicole teased, "Ken might wonder exactly what you want from him if he reads about your characters getting pounded every chapter,"

"It doesn't happen every chapter!" Mindy angrily shouted back, "Just because it's sex doesn't mean it doesn't have meaning! My characters are forming real relationships, not nightly flings!"

"Okay, okay, chill out, I was teasing," Nicole giggled back before reaching into her pocket, "So what is it? Like a dorky art girl getting the captain of the football team or maybe a nerd getting the prom queen?" Nicole guessed,

"No, it's...it's two friends," Mindy whispered back, her cheeks turning slightly red,

"Oooooh," Nicole smirked as she pulled out her lighter and a joint, "That makes sense for you," She remarked as she put the joint between her lips and light it, taking a long inhale,

"Nikki!" Mindy exclaimed while sliding away from her, "Put that out!"

"Why? I've been stressed out, and this usually calms me down," Nicole replied, her smoke slowly filling Mindy's nose causing the girl to cough, "What, you don't smoke while writing or whatever?"

"No, I don't smoke at all!" Mindy shot back as she waved her hands around, attempting to swat the marijuana smoke away, "Uh, it fucking reeks!"

"Here, take a drag, you look like you could use it," Nicole said as she held the lit joint out to Mindy,

"No, that's okay," Mindy grumbled out while shaking her head, "I don't need to smoke fucking pot to calm down, I can control myself,"

Nicole shrugged her shoulder and leaned back on the couch, "So, this story... I'm guessing the characters are based off you and Ken then,"

"W-What, no they're just...just characters," Mindy mumbled back, her eyes now staring at the laptop blankly,

"Pfft, good lie, almost had me for, oh let's say, two seconds." Nicole laughed at the Asian girl, "You just happen to write a romance novel about two best friends when you, yourself, want to hook up with your best friend."

"No, I don't!" Mindy barked back, her face as red as a strawberry,

"Yes, you fucking do!" Nicole shot back, "I saw you and him sucking face yesterday, and then you fucked him last night! Kenny didn't start those things, you did, and that's because you want the fucking guy! Admit it!"

"And what about you, huh?!" Mindy exclaimed causing Nicole to freeze up, "Yeah, what do you want from Kenny? Yesterday when we talked it was all about having a good time with no strings attached but look at you. You're fucking jealous of me!"

"Shut up, I'm not jealous of you," Nicole lowly replied, taking another drag, "I don't care what Kenny does,"

"Oh yeah?" Mindy asked with a slow nod, "So you're just okay with him fucking me last night, correct?"

"Uh-huh, I don't care, we're not dating we're fuck buddies, nothing else," Nicole muttered back as she took another drag, smoking to calm and distract herself now,

Mindy nodded slowly, "Then I guess you wouldn't care to hear that Kenny liked fucking me more."

"What?!" Nicole suddenly snapped out, her eyes flaring up,

"He told me last night that I was doing so much better than his time with you." Mindy repeated while glaring at Nicole, "Does that bug you?"

"You god damn right it does!" Nicole shouted out, "What the fuck Kenny?! Where do you get off?! Y-you complete fucking-what does he want from me?! What am I supposed to do?!" Nicole asked while tossing her hands up, "I did almost everything for him yesterday, and apparently I wasn't even good enough?!"

"Relax," Mindy muttered out, "Kenny was drunk, I figure that he didn't even know what he was saying...but you," Mindy smirked, "You actually feel something for him, not the other way around, huh." Nicole's eyes widened, and she lowered her head in silence, "Nikki, it's okay, he's a great guy...it's the same reason I fell for him." Mindy admitted while shifting awkwardly around, "Um...can I?" She asked looking at Nicole's joint,

Nicole looked between Mindy and the joint before nodding and taking a small puff for herself before handing it over, "I'm...I'm not falling for him or whatever, I just...like him, I guess." Nicole muttered as she watched Mindy take her first puff, instantly hacking loudly. The girl couldn't help but laugh, "Got to cough to get off, huh?" She giggled out,

"Jesus," Mindy hacked out, "That's, ahem, that's weird." She said before taking a slow breath and trying once again, this time holding the smoke in her lungs and slowly letting it out, "Huh, not really what I expected, I thought I'd...I don't know, start seeing shit or something,"

Nicole let out a loud, boisterous laugh, "It's weed, not acid Mindy!" She almost howled out,

Mindy smirked and shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know, I didn't think I'd end up trying this shit ever," She added on while handing Nicole her joint, "So what'd you do to piss Ken off?"

"What are you talking about?" Nicole asked back,

"Kenny didn't spend the day with me because I freaked him the fuck out...and I don't even know what's going to happen between us now, but you." Mindy explained as Nicole took a drag and handed it back to her, "You and Ken should have been fine. Why didn't he stay here with you?"

Nicole wet her lips, and irritably shook her head, "Because I'm a fucking asshole," She hissed out causing Mindy's eyes to slightly widen, "I fucked Brian last night because he fucked you,"

Mindy's jaw slightly dropped, "Nikki, why would you do that?"

"Because Mindy when I get angry I lash out. I fucked Brian to be even with him, but when I saw him this morning I basically told him we're nothing and all I cared about was his dick!" Mindy looked at her in complete confusion, not understanding why she would do such a thing, "I know, I'm a fucking idiot! I just-I don't know what I feel for that guy, and I was mad, he hurt me, but I could tell him that. I basically told him it was fine earlier that day anyway!"

"You did?" Mindy replied,

"Not like-I told Kenny that we were only hooking up...I thought that's all we were doing. Then Rachel kissed him, and you fucked him," She muttered out while rubbing her eyes slowly, "I don't get jealous Mindy, it's never happened, I make guys jealous. "

"You mean you did until you finally screwed around with someone worth your time," Mindy corrected with a shake of her head, "Kenny's not like those guys you've been with before,"

"Yeah, no shit," Nicole retorted,

"You should know-you need to know something," Mindy sighed, "I'm not just crushing on Ken, I think I...I might actually love him." Mindy whispered out,

"Is this your way of telling me to back off?" Nicole asked with a raised brow and a slight frown,

Mindy lightly shook her head, "This is me telling you, I'm not willing to stop trying for Kenny until I know one way or the other what he thinks about me." Mindy corrected before taking another drag. The two went silent as they both thought about Mindy's words and Kenny in general. Both girls finding it almost offputting to be talking about the same guy they wanted like it was nothing. Nicole half expected a fight to break out from hearing Mindy, but she understood, and she couldn't be angry about it...at least not yet. "So, there's that..." Mindy mumbled out causing Nicole's head to lazily look over at her, "You gonna leave?"

Nicole wet her lips and shook her head, leaning back on the couch, "Not until I hear about this fucking story," She said with a near friendly smile,

Mindy's lips slowly curled up, and she let out a slow sigh, "Fine, but no detail, I'll just go through the plot points," Mindy mumbled as snowflakes began to fall just outside the window.
