Heading out

You and your party head out of the west gate, aiming to meet up with the crashed bit of The Andromeda, and cross over the falls hoping to avoid the "grey" apes.

You leave the gate saying goodbye to Haruka for now, and begin traveling along the rocky coast of the lake, carrying the bulk of the resources that you all would need, you and Yasmin carry plasma rifles, the third being used to restart the colony's reactor.

You lead the expedition as point, guiding them towards where you think the part fell. Yasmin leads the rear ready to face any danger that may come your way. While Rachel trudges along in the middle of the group.

"What do you think we will find?" Yasmin asks, raising her voice a little.

"From what I could tell, it must have been something substantial, the crater was quite large." You yell behind you.

"But more than likely it's just a piece of the hull."

You feel your foot slip slightly on a wet rock, reflexively you pull yourself back up, ever since the accident with sample #128, your physical reflexes have slowly improved; along with every other aspect of your body, even now you can still feel it working on you.

"Careful," you say, calling back to the others.

"Yasmin?" You call back again.

"Yes," she answers.

"Have you found anything interesting with the samples you got?" You ask, slightly becoming worried at how much the gas is having an effect on you, maybe Hansen had changed it a bit.

"There is not much to say at this time," She explains.

You can tell in her voice, she is holding something back, but what it is you have no idea.

"Why is something going on?" she asks concerned.

"Just curious..." you answer.

You continue to walk along the coast, no one seems to want to talk, either out of fear or concentration.
