Gavin, double bed

“Oh, goody!” Heather exclaims. “So, here’s what we’re going to do. All of us will write our names on these slips of paper and then we'll each take turns picking one of them from the bowl. Ok?”

Zack nods with his stomach doing somersaults as names were written and put in the hat that Heather brought. He was worried that he would draw Kurt, but any of the other available options would be fine, be it one of his two best friends or his crush.

Heather then shakes the hat and reaches inside it to pick up a name. She unfolds it and reads.

“Chloe!” She announces. “Looks like you’re with me!”

Zack couldn’t decipher if Heather was truly happy with her draw or was just faking. Chloe on the other hand smiled at her awkwardly, as she and the buxom brunette were not particularly close. In fact, Chloe could probably count on one hand the amount of times she and the cheerleader had been alone together.

Zack then notices Kurt had just stuck his hand into the bowl, and felt his heart take a leap of fear as he could immediately see the smile on the other guy's face.

"Victoria..." The man grinned, while turning to the lovely young blonde. "That's a... pleasant surprise!"

Needless to say, Zack had to hold himself back from just punching that douchebag square in the face, and it seemed like both Heather and Chloe were about as quick to read his expressions. Both girls discretely stepped in between them, without Kurt even noticing a thing, and Victoria just looking rather uncomfortable with the whole situation.

"Well, I agreed to play!" She says as cheerfully as she can muster, and honestly doesn't look like she'd be that much comfortable about sharing a room with any of the others.

"And I've got just the room!" Says Kurt, who's already picked up his stuff and started heading for the building. He's stopped short by his cousin however, and scowls pretty badly when she tells him off.

"That means the last room is for Gavin and Zack!" She announces for reasons yet unknown to the others, though it seems on Kurt as she's just been thwarting his plans. He doesn't object though, but grumbles loudly as he's off for the main building.

"Sorry." Says Heather after a moment's pause to Zack and Gavin, when the others except for Chloe are all out of earshot. "Looks like you two boys will have to share a double bed. I couldn't really let Kurt get away with that."

"...Thanks." Zack finally says to her, though he can't really forgive her for setting up this stupid idea in the first place. The idea of Kurt and Victoria sharing the same room is bad enough, but just the thought of them sharing the same bed makes his blood run cold.

"You've done what you could." Chloe tells her, though with a worried look towards her good old friend, and then the three friends stand and watch as Heather too starts taking her stuff towards the house. "It'll turn out fine, Zack... Victoria isn't the type to fall for a guy like that."

"I... think you're right." He agrees, but still with a hint of anger in his voice. He's not blaming her however, and he tries his very best to keep himself calm. "Let's all check out our rooms, then...?"

"Ah, yeah!" She smiles as well, and heads off to her room with Heather, leaving Zack and Gavin to enter their own.

"Well, I guess we better hurry and unpack, I heard Heather talking about everyone going down to the lake as soon as we all get settled in." Zack says, picking up his bags.

"Ah, I think I'll probably stay in the room." Gavin responds, shouldering his backpack and duffel bag and beginning to walk towards the room. "I'm a bit tired from the ride up."

"Alright, man. If that's what you really want to do. I'll let you know now that I'm sure you'll be missing a pretty great sight." Zack informs his roommate as he enters their room, trying to imagine what piece of swimwear the beautiful Ms. Walker might parade around the lake in.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure to go see the lake at some point. You're right though, I'll bet it probably looks pretty spectacular at sunset." Gavin replies, already starting to unpack his clothes into the large wardrobe beside the double bed.

"Huh?....Oh right, yeah! The lake! Yeah, I bet it does." Zack agrees, slightly flustered from his daydream.
