Not at all

For a moment you think the spell might have worked, and then the demon looks disgusted. She moves and in the blink of an eye, she slams her fist into your gut knocking the wind out of you. She grabs your head and with a firm grip, you feel magic shoot into your mind.

You try and resist but you can barely breathe and in a moment you pass out.

When you wake up it is dark out, as you try and move you realize your hands and feet are bound and start to panic. Calming yourself you look around, you look around and see you are in the ruins of a small house in the village. There is light coming from somewhere and you realize with panic the soft thing under you is burning coles. For some reason, though they aren't burning you.

"The master demon relationship is a two-way street" You hear from behind you. Twisting your body you see the demon from before and reach for your magic but can't reach it for some reason, heart beating fast you start at the demon her figure slipping in and out of the soft light of the coals as she circles around you.

"Very few have the power you have, to reach across the dimensions and pull power. None must be wasted, but not every master is ready when they reach for their birthright." She pauses and her eyes drill into you "Some must be trained on how to take their birthright"
