Guilty and ashamed

"I'm sorry," she says, closing her eyes and covering her mouth.

"I don't know what came over me," she says as tears begin to well up in her eyes, the first tear begins to fall down her cheek.

"No, no, it's not your fault," you say sitting up as well "You were not in control of yourself" you reach your hand out towards her back in an attempt to comfort the now crying woman.

"But..." she stammers the tears now practically pouring down her face.

You don't know what to do or say... "come here," you say it's the only thing you can think to do.

She obliges, and you hug her as comforting as you can. At first, she seems too ashamed to reciprocate. But eventually, in some effort to make herself feel better, she returns the hug.

"Can you forgive me?" she asks, stammering from the crying.

"Yes, of course, you did nothing wrong" you hope this can be of some solace.

After some time she begins to stop crying, eventually looking at you with red eyes.

"Come on, we have a mission" you stand up redressing yourself. Haruka then follows suit.

"Thank you" Haruka says nearly entirely composed again, "let's go."
