(Silly Scene 6) Chloe is jealous

I look over at my darling little Chloe. She was obviously pissed off about something. She had stormed into my office and let you guys peek in from your window.

"Ummm...I wasn't going to do these Silly Scenes anymore babe. I know we hit another 100k but I was going to wrap this thread up." I explain. "Could you close that please."

"No!" She spins and looks at me with angry eyes. "Every 100k I get a scene damnit." Her small hands were balled up in fists at her side, her arms straight down.

I'd never seen her like this. "Chloe, I'm kind of busy working on..."

"I know! That other stupid story!" She half glowers and half pouts at me. "Why do you want to write a story about a silly game? It's boring, I hate it. Aren't we enough for you?"

I smile. "C'mon now. You know I love you guys, even Fiona. But I've got a lot of ideas rattling around up here in my noggin."

"Yeah, I know. But...you're gonna start looking at that dragon woman and start getting ideas...probably invite her in here." I could feel the jealousy emanating off of her. "Then...then you'll forget all about us. All about me. Next thing you know we'll be abandoned and you'll have some crazy monster lady on your arm. Runt of the Litter will be just another forgotten story buried in the depths of CHYOA."

I chuckle. "That's not likely, not for a while anyways. Besides, there are other writers." I get up and walk over to her and take her in my arms. Kissing her atop her head I say. "Don't worry, I'm not going to have some crazy monster lady on my arm."

She looks up, still not quite placated. "You better not. And I still expect to see some chapters here too!"

"You will, you will. I can't stay away from you guys, you know that." I say in a soothing tone.

She nods. "Okay. But if I don't see some good chapters from you by next time...there will be hell to pay."

I chuckle. "You're cute when you're jealous." Chloe threatening me, what a laugh! "Now come on, lets get out of here and go do something. Just you and me."

She nods, though she was obviously still thinking about this.
