Chloe is resigned to her fate

Chloe looked resignedly around at her friends in the circle who were looking between herself and Lisa curiously. She had told Lisa about her first time in confidence, and the fact that Lisa was exploiting that in front of her friends wasn’t very appreciated on Chloe’s part. “Go ahead, say what you want to say.” Chloe said challengingly staring Lisa right in the eyes.

“I like that fire in your eyes Chloe.” Lisa said seeing the anger in the girl’s look. “Why don’t we channel that into something enjoyable for us all?” She asked Chloe and the group as well. Zack was torn, he wanted to know about Chloe’s little secret, and the fact that she hadn’t shared it with any one of her friends except for Lisa made him curious. On the other hand, he didn’t want the girls to get to the point where they were at each other’s throats.

“Come on, get it over with already!” Chloe said.

“Right, well why don’t you share with the group the details about your first time?” Lisa asked slyly.

“You bitch.” Chloe said under her breath but loud enough for everyone to hear her getting a couple of chuckles. “Well, what’s to tell really? I got to know a couple of boys from school, I wasn’t really in a right state of mind, I had just seen something that had shook me and I decided to get back at these people by sleeping with some guys, so I did.” Chloe shrugged her shoulders.

“Well that told us nothing Chloe!” Sarah said.

“Oh, not you too!” Chloe said looking at her friend from Kindergarten.

“I’m a competitive one, plus I want to know you a little better. How wild can the Chloe I knew get?” Sarah asked her friend.

“It was just one time.” Chloe cried out looking across the room at everyone in the circle, her eyes lingering on Zack for a bit longer than everyone else.

“I did ask for detail Chloe.” Lisa said.

“Fine! Fuck it! It’s about time I get it off my chest anyway.” Chloe said as she prepared herself for spilling the beans on that day to everyone in the cabin, including the one person she never wanted to know.
