Ruby needs more support first

As the dance hall doors opened Ruby felt incredibly exposed. Time seemed to slow down around her as fear and exhilaration rushed through her body in equal measure. Before any of the many eyes in the room found their way to her, however, fear won. Ruby darted away from the door and hid out of sight by a wall.

"Shut the door!" she whispered, "I don't think I can do this!"

Blake and Sun obliged, closing the door and moving to comfort their friend.

"Look, Ruby" Blake said as she put her arm around her team mate, "you absolutely can do this! But if you really don't want to, then that's fine."

"No!" said Ruby, resolutely, "I need to do this. I have to prove to myself that I am a woman of my word! And Sun's right, imagine the legend people will tell of this day if I do it! I just get so nervous and it's tough doing this alone!"

Blake thought for a moment. She came up with a perfect solution.

"Well, what if you weren't the only one who was naked?"

Ruby looked incredulously at Blake. Could she possibly be suggesting what Ruby thought she was suggesting? Ruby was disappointed then when Blake turned to look at Sun.

"Sun..."

"Woah woah woah, what are you suggesting?" Sun said, suddenly very opposed to the nudity idea, "There's no way I'm going in their naked. There's only one tail of mine that people get to see."

"No Sun, I need you to take my clothes back to our dorm room." Blake smiled and turned to face Ruby.

"What? Really?" asked a wide-eyed Ruby.

"Yeah, are you sure?" asked Sun, "I mean I'm not going to pass up the chance to finally see you naked, but are you sure you want to do it in front of so many people?"

"I'm positive." said Blake, "My team mate needs me. One day we will be out there in the wild battling the forces of grimm and who will care about a little bit of fun we have here at Beacon? We should enjoy it while we can."

Ruby and Sun looked on in awe as Blake kicked off her heels and slid off her dress, leaving her in just a matching pair of black underwear. She unhooked her bra and tossed it aside. Sun looked on gormlessly, with his mouth agape and his eyes wider than Remnant's moon had ever been. Ruby felt proud of her friend, and full of admiration for the support she was showing her as Blake slid off her underwear and stood there completely naked.

"Oh I almost forgot something, if we are going to be completely exposed..." Blake began, as she untied her bow and let her cat ears spring free, before throwing the bow to the side.

"Sun, stop staring, you have a job to do." said Blake.

"Yeah, of course, right away!" said Sun, snapping back to reality, before gathering Blake's clothes and sprinting back to the dorm room.

Blake and Ruby stood alone in the corridor without a single thread touching either of their bodies, hidden only by a door that could open at any moment, leaving them naked in front of all their friends.

"Ok Ruby, we have to do this now, there's no going back."

"Ok!" said Ruby, feeling much more confident with her friend accompanying her.

"Remember what Sun said, if we are going to pull this off we can't cover anything. This isn't accidental, we are naked because we want to be, and we are going to show off our entire bodies to everyone!"

"Yeah!" Ruby shouted and punched the air.

"Ready?" asked Blake as she reached for the door handle.
