A Tower Gate (Clip 5 of 14)

Melissa clicked on the next clip. This was just a refresher, but things didn't really get interesting until after this next part in her own opinion. At the very least, this next clip had some usable information.

The camera turned on again in a public park, under a bridge. The top of the bridge was covered in slime, and Lydia was stabbing a small slug on the ground with a knife.

"...God. The Tower just had to bring some little of these bastards too while they were at it." Lydia said. "Do you think the little ones grow up to be like the one we killed an hour ago?"

Clara gave a simple response. "That would be biologically difficult. But it's not out of the question, giving how monumentally fucked the biology seems to be with these monsters."

"Oh, finally coming around to the breeding theory are we?" Lydia asked.

"...Listen, your "Breeding" theory is still insane. Animals aren't...what the fuck is that?" Clara said.

The two moved in the park towards a 20 foot large hole surrounded by biomass. It was like a sinkhole with more then a few of the small slugs coming out of it.

"...That...that has to be an entrance." Clara said.

Lydia nodded.

"...We should move fast. We need to get to a safe location inside, quickly. If those exist..." Lydia said

A park near the tower with an entrance into the tower. It wasn't the main gate, more like a back door, and that was just fine for Melissa. The main gate was infested anyways, so it was always really going to be out of the question.
