Joy and Rachel start a game of Truth or Dare.

"...so basically, Vampire Knight's anime was total crap," Joy finished decisively. "Someone needs to go over there snap all of Studio Deen's pencils."

"Yeah," said, nodding in agreement. She took another sip of her margarita. It was too heavy on the tequila and too light on the mix, but... whatever. "I wish we'd get more fun stuff like Cardca... I mean... Wallflower."

"Whoa! Hold up, sister!" Joy cut in. "Did you just say you liked Cardcaptor Sakura? Does_ Miss 'I love all things dark and spooky' _have a soft spot for her mahou shoujou?"

"No, of c...course not! I h...hate all those silly poses and pretty dresses!" Rachel said, trying to keep from slurring her words. Damn this booze!

"Ha! You sound like Lynn right after I caught her raiding my box of Boys Love!" Joy laughed, finding herself leaning closer to Rachel than she had been a drink ago. "Admit it, Rach. You've always wanted to be a pretty pretty princess. Why else would you dress up like the villain from a magical girl anime?"

Rachel looked down at herself and her ragged Necromancer swimsuit, bedazzled with skulls and bones in between artful rips down her front. She really did look like a villainess, didn't she?

"I knew it!" Joy giggled. "Hey. I dare you to get up and do the Sailor Moon thing."

"Oh, fuck no!" Rachel shook her head vigorously. "No way!"

"Okay," Joy said. "That's not exactly fair. How 'bout you get to go all Truth or Dare on me if you do?"

Rachel considered the offer. There were a few things she'd like to see Joy act out, and a few questions she was dying to know the answers to. She looked behind her shoulder. The group was to one side of the beach, and it wasn't like everyone would see her... and Saki was too busy talking to Lynn, so she wouldn't notice, right?

Rachel grabbed her Necromancer staff and leapt to her feet. As quickly as she could, she raised it high and called out the special words: "Moon Prism power, make up!"

Everyone in the group fell silent. Even Marigold, who was about to tell Tessa "when" on filling her cup of beer, froze in place. Rachel blinked and realized everyone was staring at her. She sat down as quickly as she could with a luminescent blush.

Saki and Lynn stared blankly. They shared a glance between themselves. Then they broke down in laughter. Kiona and Tessa joined in, followed by Marigold, who took a sip of her beer that quickly turned into a gulp.

"What was that?!" Lynn asked breathlessly. "Saki, are you making that poor girl do Sailor Moon?"

"Wasn't me," Saki giggled. "Rae Rae, are you going soft on me?"

"Joy dared me," Rachel protested weakly.

"No I didn't!" Joy teased.

"Yes, you did!" Rachel shouted. "Fine! Everyone, we're playing Truth or Dare, right now!"

"Sweet." Joy said. "I knew you'd get into it!"
