Chapter 8

A dinner to remember
You look a the three beauties in your room, and remember your real target is Arwen. You look at the three girls and try to diplomatically dissuade them from the path they want to take you down. "Wow ladies, you look all nice and formal, good. Let me just change my clothes into something nice and Elvish, and we can see what Lord Elrond has in store for tonight's dinner." You suggest as nicely as possible, but you can still see the disappointment in their faces, as Elves are extremely expressive creatures with their bodily reactions, making bedding one an absolute adventure. The girls realize that they had been rejected as they turn around and let you finish changing in somewhat privacy. You think to yourself that any man what kill each other over the chance to have one of these Elves, let alone three of them in their room, and you botched the chance to make good on that opportunity. You can imagine the men in the world making fun of you for your choice, but it is all part of the plan to win Arwen back, but you do think to yourself that given the chance, would you make a move on these three?
[A1]- Definitely, I've spurned them once, that's the end of my endurance (your opinion of the three increase)
[A2]- No (your opinion of the three decrease)
[A3]- We'll see (hold off until actual decision is needed)
[A4]- Add your own
[A5]- Only if Arwen is also present
You dress up in one of the formal Elvish outfit that was hung so nicely in your closet, and set out with Arwen's three hand maidens to the pavilion that hosts Rivendel's dinner and evening entertainment. The pavilion was as grand as you remembered with the characteristic Elvish architecture that incorporated nature into its buildings. Once you enter the building, the three ladies swiftly leave your side and head into the crowd, you follow their path straight to Arwen, who was wearing a nice blue dress with jewels embedded in the neck line of her dress. You catch her eye as her hand maidens whisper in her ear, and she smiles at you, you were going to walk up to her and greet her when you hear your name being bellowed from nearby. You look around, but not before you get caught up in a bear hug that lifts you off your feet. When you are eventually set back down to earth, you look at your hugger, and see that it's your old friend Aragorn. He's dressed up nicely in Elvish attire, much better than you, probably attributed to the fact that he's spent more time among the Elves than you have. When you see him standing there all dressed up and smiling how do you feel?
[B1]- Happy, it's great to see your old friend again. (character relations increase)
[B2]- Jealous, how did he get those clothes? I can't accept him and Arwen together. (Character relations decrease)
[B3]- Add your own
You greet him politely, and he takes you to a table where you can sit and chat. The musical sound of the Elvish speech flooded the air and made you fall in love with this place all over again, the sound of a harp playing in a corner somewhere also added to the musicality of the event. You and Aragorn chatted long into the night, even through dinner when it was served to you on brass trays brought to you by official looking Elvish servers. You two laughed hard into the night reminiscing about your past adventures and time together. As you two chat and laugh through the night, the band comes in and sets up on the main platform where Elrond and Arwen along with their household sat. "Aragorn, why are you here?" You ask him as the sound of joy and happiness flood the air, the sound of which was once more foreign to you after 50 years of not hearing anything close.
"I was called back by Lord Elrond, apparently there is to be a council held here during the week, the rest of the people who are to be part of the council should be arriving throughout the week. Any idea if you will be part of the council?"
"I haven't even heard of this council as yet, Aragorn."
"Not to worry, Elrond held a meeting with me earlier in the day before I came here, he said that what you told him is the reason why he is holding this council. I'm being sent out to Bree, where I should've been all along, I'm to escort a couple of Hobbits carrying something of importance according to Elrond and Gandalf. I'll be leaving tomorrow, and hope to be back in a couple of days, when we'll finally know what's going on."
"Well, old friend. Be safe, and be back soon." You say as you clasp his forearm in a warm farewell.
"You heading to bed?" He asked curiously.
"Of course not! I haven't danced with the Elves in 50 years, I wonder if I can still best you at that particular sport."
"I wouldn't count on it old boy. Even if I wasn't very good, Arwen is spectacular, you don't stand a chance." He said confidently.
"We'll see." You say as you look around the room and see the many beautiful Elvish women sitting and standing around who aren't already dancing to the music being played. You see Aragorn walk up to Arwen and whisper in her ear as they both look your way and snicker. "Oh come on! I wasn't that bad, was I?" You grumble to yourself.
"Baldor, is that you?" You hear a female voice ask from behind you. You turn around and look at a tall feminine Elf who you vaguely remember. Her height came up to your forehead, making her one of the tallest Elves you had ever seen, her breasts were fuller than any other Elf and her body was toned and muscular, making you think that her ass must be toned and tight. Her body made it obvious that she was one of the rare female Elvish warriors, and her identity was right on the tip of your tongue.
"I do seem to vaguely remember you, but I'm still blanking."
"Oh come on! Maybe if I take you somewhere private I can show you something you may remember" she says suggestively. You almost **** on your own spit as you suddenly realize who you're facing, this warrior was Aegnes which means sharp point. She's the only Elf in Rivendell that you have ever slept with, and here she stands in front of you. "Were you looking for someone to dance with? I'd be happy to be your partner. I seem to remember that you're not a bad dancer, but if you're still pining over Arwen, you're going to need to impress her, and I can help you dance your way to her heart. What do you say?"
[C1]- Yes please! (Relations increase with Arwen, Aragorn, and Aegnes)
[C2]- What if I just want to dance with you, and for you? (Drastic relations increase with Aegnes, and relations increase with Arwen and Aragorn being impressed)
[C3]- Nice seeing you again, but I had someone else in mind (Relations decrease with Aegnes)
[C4]- Forget the dancing, why don't we reacquaint ourselves over a bottle of wine under the stars? (Relations increase with Aegnes, relations decrease with Arwen and Aragorn)
Author's note: Check the Character Relations chart to see how Baldor likes the different people he's been introduced to so far.
