Chapter 9 by adam17017 adam17017

What's next?

A dance

You take Aegnes' hand as you walk her to the dance floor, where a few Elves are casually dancing to the sound being plucked from the harp strings. You walk up to the main table and take the customary bow in front of Elrond, asking permission to start the real dancing tonight. Elrond nods his head at both you and Aegnes with a gentle smile, and you spin away to the middle of the dance floor. The room had gone silent as all the guests realize that the main festivities are about to begin. You spot Arwen and Aragorn who are smirking at you good naturedly, you raise an eye brow and gesture to the empty dance floor, effectively challenging the best dancing pair in all Rivendell. You can hear the asps of astonishment and mumbles of surprise from the audience, which makes you smile at Aegnes, this is making you.

Arwen and Aragorn take slow deliberate steps towards you two at the center of the dance floor. You roll your eyes and pretend to yawn, as you share a smile with Aegnes, as Arwen and Aragorn try to hide their laughs. You all know each other too well, to hide things or pretend to be something you're not from each other. You see Iolneth waving you over from the crowd of people that had formed around the center of the dance floor. You excuse yourself from your friends and walk over to one of Arwen's hand maidens, "Hey Iolneth, what's up?" You ask.

"Nothing much, I was just wondering if you were prepared for this dance?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, I know how you feel about Arwen, and everyone here suspects you have a closer relation to Aegnes then it appears on the surface, but I don't believe you know just how good at dancing those three really are."

"I'm not that bad myself, I seem to remember you congratulating me on my dancing around 50 years ago." You say slyly, as Iolneth blushes prettily.

"Oh shut up! I hope you fall on that face of yours and embarrass yourself." She huffs as she walks back to her other maid friends. You smile at her as she sways her ass hypnotically at you as she walks, looking back to see if you're looking, then winking. You quickly swallow the lump forming in your throat, rearrange your pants that somehow got tighter all of a sudden, and walked back to the dance floor.

"What was that all about?" Aegnes asked.

"A fan." You say dismissively.

"Iolneth, a fan. Really?"

"She just told me that she hopes I know what I'm doing. She warned me that all of you are expert dancers, it's as if she expects me to be in some kind of danger. I've been through wars, I think I can survive a dance, right?"

"If you say so." She says mysteriously as she drags you to a set position to match Aragorn and Arwen. "Ok remember, don't be naughty, we need to concentrate."

"No problem. Remind me to thank you later for all this help."

"Don't worry, I will. What have you got in mind?"

"That's a secret, one we'll have to win to find out." What reward did you have in mind?

[B1]- A midnight picnic after the dance (increase Aegnes' and Aragorn's character relations, no change to Arwen)

[B2]- An invitation to private pleasantries (Increase Aegnes' character relations dramatically, increase Aragorn's character relations, decrease Arwen's)

[B3]- A midnight picnic after the dance. Make a plan to have Aragorn occupied and invite Arwen to join the two of you on the picnic. (increase Aegnes' and Arwen's character relations; decrease Aragorn's)

"Ooh, a challenge. You know I like those." She whispered seductively in your ear, as you jerk away slightly as your member starts to harden slightly.

"I thought you said we needed to concentrate?" You grunted annoyed.

"Just wanted to see what kind of effect I still had on you, need less to say, I'm happy." Arwen cleared her throat delicately to grab your attention, then signaled the harp player as the music started. Both couples started to glide across the dance floor in time with the music as the dance started easy, but in the vein of everything Elvish, what starts easy always becomes more and more difficult. Your hands rest on Aegnes' thin waist, as hers balance on your shoulders. You look over to the other couple and feel a bout of jealousy, as you see Aragorn's hands dangerously low on Arwen's waist, and she doesn't seem to react to the proximity to her ass. You feel a hand on your cheek as it moves your face back to facing forwards, as Aegnes lowers her hand "Look at me, they're trying to get you riled up so you make a mistake. Don't make the mistake of thinking that they don't know how you feel. They'll use that to their advantage."

"Damn! Why does dancing need so much strategy?" You say as you twirl Aegnes around and bring her back into you.

"The intricacies of Elvish culture, my dear. Everything is a challenge. We have two options here, what would you like to do?"

[C1]- Dance regularly (40% chance of winning; a win increases relations with the race of the Elves and with Elrond)

[C2]- Try some risky moves (60% chance of winning, 30% chance of injury which lasts a turn, 10% chance of winning Arwen's heart)
