"Well might as well just accept it," Zander got up from bed and begun putting on his clothes. Jeans, tshirt, iconic jacket, and signature cap.

"Oh, and just so you know the world is minorly changed to suit the genre." His mother hugged him. "My little boy is all grown up."

"Will this affect prom?"

A knock came at the door before he got an answer. It was his dad in his typical business suit. "As you know," said Zander's father, "On a boy's 18th birthday he becomes an adult. And can take part in our culture's greatest tradition!"

"Consensual sex," chimed Zander before his mom slapped him with a paper fan.

"... Capturing monsters inside of non-copyright infringing capsules and making them fight."

Zander rubbed the back of his head, "okay..."

"Pick your starter," said his dad as he opened up a suitcase full of tiny pill shaped devices. He gave Zander a device. "This smart phone runs an app that is linked to the Capsule Monster wiki. You can use it to scan each individual capsule for more info on the monster."
