Movement.

You step inside the store and scan the space with the Remington at the ready. After a few more steps into the store you hear a metal clank. It sounded like it came from the other side of the building. As you slowly make your way towards the back aisles, you are careful not to step on anything to avoid making a noise.

As you get closer you hear several more clanks and you start to get very nervous. You have never fired a gun before, let alone at another person. You hope the gun will scare whatever is back there off, but you know you may have to use it. Leaning back against the end of an aisle, you take a deep breath and try to strengthen your resolve. You remind yourself that whatever you do, it is necessary for your survival. You peak your head around the corner of the aisle and locate the source of the noise. You see the silhouette of a person rummaging through several cans of food. You decide you need to act fast.
