Announce yourself.

Stepping out from behind the aisle, you point the shotgun at the shadowy figure.

"Put your hands up," you shout at the figure.

The figure does as he is told and raises his hands above his head and slowly backs away from the cans. Without turning towards you the figure says, "I was just looking for some food, I don't want any trouble. Please, just let me walk out of here and you can have anything you want in here."

"Do you have any weapons?"

"No, I don't. Just please don't shoot," with this he turned around and looked right at you.

"Alana...? Alana Marshall?"

You are briefly shocked that this man knows your name, but then you recognize him as an old high school friend.

"Todd Foster!" you exclaim, relived that you don't have to use your shotgun. You lower it, walk over and give Todd a hug.

"I am so glad to see someone I know made it through," Todd gestures towards the shotgun, "I'm glad you didn't use that on me."

"I wasn't planning to, trust me. I was just trying to grab some food, just like you."

"Do you have a place to stay? It would probably be safer if we stuck together. We could take a lot more food together."
