The Supermarket.

You decide the most obvious place to look for food is the supermarket, so you decide to head there.

Stepping out of your house you look around at your hometown of Manchester, New Hampshire. The city looks very much like it did before the Plague. It has only been a few months since it all started so decay has not set in yet. The strangest thing to you is the sound, or lack thereof. You've never experienced such silence in this city, and you are used to the sounds of cars and people. The silence makes it feel as if you are in an unfamiliar place, not the city where you lived the majority of your life.

With shotgun in hand, you walk down your street looking at the houses of your neighbors. You think of all the families that you have seen living in these homes and how these people no longer exist. Your heart sinks when you reach the final house on your street. This house belonged to the family of your boyfriend, Charlie, the love of your life. Your thoughts go back to watching him succumb to the Plague. You quickly shake these thoughts and decide that you should get going. You walk a few more streets before you reach the supermarket. You bring up the Remington and slowly enter the store.
