You attempt to heal her.

You have little time. You look the acolyte in the eye and say,"Do it."

"Take my hand." She replies.

You grab her hand and expect some of ritual. She merely raises your hand with her and says grant us power goddess. Power flows into you at first a trickle than a flood. Unlike Omaraha it is not rejuvenating power, merely power. Directing it to heal is challenging. You manage to control it. You realize this goddess simply bestows power, with it you are not bound only to heal or repel undead, you could do nearly anything with it.

Arielle is not beyond healing. You lay your hand upon her chest and watch as her wound closes. As the hole disappears, you release the acolytes hand part of you is sad to see the power drain away. You see Arielle's chest rise and fall and you smile. You thank the acolyte.

Arielle's eyes snap open. She mutters,"Thank you for following me."

You help her up and she stands unsteadily at first. After a few strides you are both walking back to inn unaided. Indeed, Arielle looks none the worse for the wear. And, you, you feel odd. You search yourself and realize whatever deity loaned you its powers is still connected to you. You could call upon her for power at any time.

You arrive back at the inn seek to meditate. You find it incredibly difficult with the noise from Harold's room. Arielle clearly has slipped in there and the two are having intercourse. Ever since you healed your first wound you have felt no regrets. At least until now, the pleasure your friend is clearly feeling makes you a bit envious. You give up trying to meditate and instead drift off to sleep.

The dream comes almost as you close your eyes. You see Chase, nude, somewhat bloodied, hanging from the ceiling of what can best be described as a **** chamber. As you suspected she is indeed a beautiful women. Her breasts are modestly large and sit high on her chest. She has high cheekbones and delicate features. Her brown hair, though cut short, shines. She spits in the direction of a hooded woman.

The hooded woman speaks in a throaty, sexy voice,"Alyssa, take her."

A cloaked woman approaches Chase, bends down and begins licking her naked mons. Chase groans, not in agony, but in pleasure. You see a tail slip out from beneath the robed woman who is servicing Chase. Chase yells, "No, please stop, please." You can see she is about to cum. The hooded woman nods at another woman holding a black brand. As she approaches the brand begins to glow. As Chase screams in ecstasy, the woman thrusts the brand into her back. Chase simply keeps screaming, both in pain and pleasure. The woman pulls the brand away leaving a burned mark, forever etched in Chases skin. Beginning from the mark she begins to change. A tail bursts forth from her lower back. Her waist narrows, her breasts grow, her lips grow more plump, her hair darkens and lengthens. The two robed women undo her bonds and she drops to the floor. Where the old Chase had been a picture of austere beauty, this Chase oozes sexuality. She licks her lips and drops to a knee.

"Sorry, I fought you my mistress."

The hooded woman laughs a musical sexy laugh and says, "No need to apologize Chase, you are a sister now. Take her upstairs, Priestess."

The woman holding the brand offers a hand to Chase. With smooth, callous free hands, tipped in pointy black fingernails, Chase grabs the woman's hand. The Priestess turns and you look into her robes hood and see her face. You realize it is your own. You awake screaming.

You put yourself together and head down for breakfast. There is already discussion about traveling through the blighted lands by day or by night, or perhaps even staying in town another day.
