Time for some answers

As Wren lead Susie inside she tugged the leash to get Arthur to follow. Ordering him to stand and face the corner. "Why dont you like him?" Susie questioned. "Simple he gave me some bad metal before splitting. Now about that band."

As they sat and had tea she began to explain. The band was an anicent gemstone used to power four mystical towers that opened a portal to a distant realm. However one day a knight stole the gem and disabled all four towers before being lost in the portal. Unable to use the gem to turn it back on the towers have sat dormant ever since. Magic is still around but only in small doses so whoever can restore the towers can restore magic.

"So could I just hand over the gem?" She asked before trying to remove it to no avail. "Sadly the band was enchanted to bind to you so it will be impossible to remove."

Another round of tea and more talking Susie expained she was from beyond the portal and she wanted to get home. Wren offered to give her some gear to help and the two began to plan. After a while they both looked tired before Wren asked a question.

"Since we have done all we can for today do you want to help me get some revenge?" Pointing towards Arthur who was still facing the corner. Shrugging at the strangeness of this world she was inclined to agree.
