Stunned

"Wait, What!?" thought Zack. He turned towards Chloe's bed and saw her looking back at him. Zack stared at her until Chloe broke the silent.

"Can you stop staring? You're making me nervous."

Zack quickly turned away and muttered, "sorry."

"Zack, look at me please?"

Zack slowly turned his head back to Chloe.

"Look Zack. We have been friends for a very long time. You're like a brother to me. But after what happened with Kurt, I realized about how much you mean to me and the ways you tried to protect me. I thought about our first kiss when we were little. And I thought about the time you knocked out that jock in middle school after he tried to corner me and touched me. I thought about all those times and what would happen if you weren't there. I came to realize how important you are to me and after what happened with Kurt, I immediately knew what to do."

Chloe got up and pressed her lips to Zack's. Zack was momentarily stunned before finding himself returning the kiss. He placed one hand on her back and the other one on her neck. He pulled her to him as close as he can. Electricity shot up through both of them. Chloe pulled away much to the disappointment of Zack. Their eyes met each other.

Zack stared into Chloe's hypnotizing eyes and he immediately knew what he should ask.

"Chloe, will you be my girlfriend?" Zack hesitantly asked.

Chloe broke out into a huge smile before replying, "YES!" She hugged Zack and resumed kissing him.
