Bedtime

Soon, the party started to wind down. People started returning to their room. After everyone was gone, Zack and Chloe returned to their room. After entering the room, there was suddenly an air of awkward. No one knew what to do. Zack broked the silence.

"Want to watch a movie or something?"

Chloe looked at her feet and blushed. She timidly replied, "Sure..." Zack quickly turned towards the TV in the room and turned on Netflix. The duo sat down on their respective bed and searched for a movie. They settled on the latest comedy movie. As the movie went on, Zack watched Chloe as she nervously twiddled her thumb and kept staring off in the distance. It seems like she is thinking of something really important. "Of course she is. I'm also thinking about our relationship. What should we do?" thought Zack. He contemplated about saying something to Chloe but just couldn't find the courage to do so. Not before long, the movie ended. Zack was about to ask Chloe if she wants to watch another movie when he noticed that she was asleep.

Zack turned off the TV and got up to turn off the lights. The monnlight reflected off Chloe beautifully. Zack admired the view for a second before going back to his bed. Zack whispered to Chloe before falling asleep, "Good night Chloe. Your the best friend that anyone can ask for." Zack was about to close his eyes when he heard something from her bed.

"You're more than a friend to me." came a faint whisper.
