The next day

Zack ate his meals in the hospital and was finally discharged 24 hours later. Chloe was there to pick him up with Heather. The trio both got Heather's car after Zack received a warning tell him to rest. Heather drove while Chloe and Zack sat in the back seat. Chloe's head was on Zack's shoulder while his arm is around her.

"Hey Chloe. How is your fever?" asked Zack.

"It stopped after you arrived at the hospital. Now I can be the one totake care of you at the cabin." Chloe sweetly smiled at Zack.

"Heather, how are you feeling about Kurt?" asked Zack.

"Fuck that guy. I never liked him anyways." laughed Heather.

After a few more minutes of driving, the car arrived back at the cabin. The whole gang was standing there waiting for Zack. As Zack got out of the car, people came over and congratulated him. They decided to throw a welcome home party for him.

"But, I was gone for only a day!" yelled Zack.

"A day without Zack is a day lost." replied Gavin.

The group went inside and celebrated with a barbecue. The group sat around while Victoria and Ashley cooked the steaks and talked about what happened after Zack lost consciousness. Zack found out that Brandon and Gavin pinned Kurt on the floor until the police came while the girls helped Chloe. The friends joked around about Zack being a macho man in front of Chloe. Chloe just smiled as she held Zack's hand.
