Juniper Burbank

Juniper's lover was a strong, tough man who carried her in his arms all the time. Princess carried on walks, shoulder carried at conventions, and in the evenings, carry fucked until she fell asleep. Her man was the strong and dominant half of the pair.

Juniper woke up with a plain office-work screen in front of her. What appeared to be her laptop lay on its side, seemingly open and displaying a question. She closed her eyes, rolled over, and tried to go to sleep, but the screen was somehow still in front of her and far too bright.

Her eyes closed, she strategized about what to do. Roll over? Right side sleeping never worked for her. 'Reach out with my hand and close it? Air's too cold, I'm too warm...' Knock the laptop over with a headbutt? Well... it could work... but it could break the laptop if it falls off the bed... 'but I could sleep...' What if the laptop screen will just turn off soon?

Juniper squinted her eyes at the screen to see what was going on.

"Describe one feature you want your soulmate to possess!", the screen said (or typed?), "As a starting bonus, you have 4 units of energy to start with and for the next 30 blah blah blah etc etc etc."

There was maybe a paragraph or more text on the screen. Thankfully the task was bolded at the top. Juniper didn't bother reading the rest of the thesis the stupid laptop was showing.

Maybe I should just answer the question, Juniper thought. Strong, I want him to be strong. Strong enough to hold me, carry me, Pin me to the wall and fuck me senseless. But how do I type that into the computer... I guess headbutting is the only option.

She opened her eyes and the screen displayed, "You have chosen 'Strong' as the feature you want your soulmate to possess! Your specification will require 3 energy to apply only to you, but can be made more general and only require 2 energy. This will allow you to conserve your..."

Why was there so much white-on-black text... Juniper mumbled, "Go awayyyy. Just make him stroooong".

She brought her head back in preparation for the headbutt. She opened her eyes as one last chance for the laptop to save itself and saw "Confirmed! You have made one guided change! You still have 2 units of energy remaining. You will be able to make another fully specified change in one day, 23 hours, 59..."

Juniper slurred out her battle cry "Tomorrowww" and swung her head down. Though she felt no pain, she could no longer see the laptop, so she must have succeeded.
