Chapter 6 by Ray Charles Ray Charles

"YOU NEVER LET ME DO ANYTHING!"

"WELL YOU NEVER DO ANYTHING!"

Damn! Is the only thing that went through my head as I heard one of the sisters crying while the other just kept shit talking them the entire time.

Honestly, even if it was my first meeting with the part girl, I was still amazed at everything she was saying since almost everything seemed far too personal for just casual trash talk. It honestly seemed like she was saving all her criticisms of her sister until a moment like this finally arrived.

Everything finally became quiet when Jeanette sobbed and locked herself up inside the bathroom, probably crying in there.

"Now that she's done being an emotional diva. You can finally come in now. And I suggest you make it fast, as unlike my sister, I do not appreciate waiting." Theresa said with great bitterness, almost like she hated the fact I talked to her sister first before her, or maybe she just hated everything that dealt with her sister.

Quickly walking through the door I was amazed with how massive and yet small everything inside the room looked; the closest comparison I'd have to say this reminded me of a fractured mind that was fighting against its restricted self and free self or something like that anyway, given how one was a fucking desk and the other an actual fucking bed.

"So you want to know where that rat bastard is hiding." Theresa said as she sat down on her chair, huffing and puffing as she rubbed her head. Honestly, I thought with the whole being dead thing, migraines and headaches that were caused by supernatural things should be a thing of the past, but apparently not based on how Theresa was acting.

"Well, knowing Bertram, the rat bastards probably hiding out until I'm no longer livid over him sleeping with my sister." Theresa says with a sigh as she types something into her computer and then opens a drawer and tosses me a pair of keys.

I look at her with a bit of confusion, which she's quick to address. "I recently bought a property. Or rather, my sister won it in a gambling match, doing something useful for the first time in her life. But she failed to tell me that there were problems. What they are I have no clue, as what little team I find staying on my payroll either become insane or refuse to go back there no matter the cash I throw their way."

While she talked, she kept changing the position of her hands, which caused her to accidentally (at least I think it is, given her personality) push up her tits and give them a jiggle or two before they stopped, probably from how tight her bra may be.

If it weren't for my enhanced hearing, I might have failed to catch what she was saying, but with the keys in hand and the only thing she's probably going to tell me, I turn and leave the place as I make my way downstairs.

Once on the ground floor/club floor, I was quickly stopped by both ladies I met before as they dragged me over to a table, and from how hard my vampiric hearing could pick up their breathing, they seemed to be in **** need of me.

"Hey cutie! We like wanted to know something before we missed you." The dark-skinned beauty said while seductively biting her lip along with seeming to nonchalantly press her tits into my shoulder.

"Danielle and I wanted to know who you found to be hotter and sexier!" The cute redhead screamed as she sat down in such a way that I'm fairly certain she knew would let me drink up the sight in front of me.

All I could do was clear my throat as I was thankful for my status as a corpse since, if not, I don't think I'd be anywhere near the clear mind I have with these two, but given their frantic pants and crazed look, it seems they've found something to spice their relationship up.

After a chuckle I smiled at the girls and cleared my throat. "Look, ladies. While I would just love to keep talking with lovely ladies such as yourselves, I have important business to do. So tell you what, since I'm going to be coming back in about a week, I'll let you both know then."

Before they can complain or try to get me to stay, I dash out as fast as I can without looking suspicious and make my way to the alleyway where I enter the sewers since I already know there's no street with immediate access to the building.

"Ah, shit. I'm fairly certain these were new too!" I groaned as I was **** to get used to being in a sewer, and I'm just thankful that I'm a newborn vampire, as if the smell was already a bitch, then I can only imagine what those more powerful than me would handle in this smell.

"If only that car had some gas and a fucking battery." I grumbled over Lily's shitty car, as it seemed like she used it as a safehouse away from the sun instead of an actual car given the lack of anything to get the bitch moving.

Thanks to the sewer's map I quickly made it to the Ocean House Hotel sewer grate, and as I climbed, I tried my best to ignore everything that this ladder was caked in besides rust, and I left to be welcomed to a classic horror story setting.

"A dark stormy night, with no rain in sight, the lanterns are a buzz with crackling energy and bursting with ethereal joy." I said upon just looking at the building as I made my way towards the construction workers building and grabbed the keys to the building from there, as the key I was given was for just the cell door.

I dash to the front door, and the second I stand there, the lights get blown out in a massive explosion that pierces my skin, but thanks to my vampiric regeneration, all it does is leave me a bit peckish.

Using the key to unlock the door, I'm immediately met with a creepy-ass area where even though the power is supposed to be out, almost all the lights are on or rather flickering for their lives like candles dancing in the wind.

Walking over to the front desk I almost get flattened by the chandelier, or rather get pierced by it since the thing has more jagged bits than solid bits, and the broken lights that exploded before they fell certainly didn't help.

The freaking little bell didn't help as it began dinging as fast as it possibly could before suddenly launching into my hands, which would have probably killed me if not for my vampiric reflexes saving my life once again.

Walking down the hallway, I hear the buzz of something otherworldly paired with the creaking floors and buzz of whatever electric wiring was being affected by the spirits.

I checked every room I could, but besides two doors at the very end, none of them opened, and the two rooms I checked; they weren't that grand, as one was normal with a little diary talking about how a wife was looking forward to this little vacation, as her husband seemed to be very grumpy lately and quick to anger as well.

The second I was outside the room, the room next to it, which I had already visited, had a little toy car inside driving outside the room and chiming for no damn reason other than possibly giving me a fucking heart attack if I could still get those anyway.

Having had my fill of the ground floor, I start walking towards the front desk to try and climb the stairs as I dodge the angry ghosts trying to attack me with all the random vases and other things to throw at me.

"Okay, this place is crazy haunted, and SON OF A BITCH!" I said and then screamed as, while walking up the stairs, the damn thing broke and sent me falling all the way down to the basement.

"FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!" I said like I was taking a puff of a cigarette, as the one place you don't fucking go in places like this is the motherfucking basement!

What's worse is that inside this place the fucking ghosts were all over the place as a woman ghost was showing me something by running away from something, and if I were to guess, it's probably the wife that was killed by her husband since it's the only thing that makes sense.

The first stop was the boiler room to get everything working again, which seemed to piss the angry ghost off even more than it already was, as the slow simmer of the gas was now boiling hot and instantly cooked my skin.

Next stop was the laundromat, as it was the only place that wasn't locked, and all kinds of hell happened after I found an article about some chopped-up kids found in one of these little bastards, which caused the ghost to become so pissed it tried to kill me with them by opening every door and flooding the place with water.

But sadly for him, the water bill was cut off long ago for these things, at least probably once they found the bodies.

Thanks to this, however, I found a key that let me enter the elevator shaft. "Oh, I fucking know what this bitch is about to do." I thought just in case it could hear me and make things somehow worse as I hoped inside and then immediately hopped right toward the ladder as the elevator started dropping.

Quickly climbing up I find myself on the second floor, and after entering a random room, I find nothing inside extremely useful to me other than the ghost lady pointing at a room, and just like the white bitch I used to be, of course I followed the obviously haunted shit.

Inside her room I find pictures that don't really look great, as it was all normal till it got to Daddy, who was just cracked in dark squiggles like he was some nightmare creature or demon... considering what I'm thinking happened, I do think he's a demon.

"What kind of sick fuck kills his kids and wife?" I said "aloud" by accident, and it seemed to piss the thing off even more than it was before. Which is just amazing as I seem to keep pissing this bastard off to possibly new heights as the whole room begins to shake.

Once a spark of blue ghost fire appears, I start running, and the fire seems to follow as the ghost is walking behind me. Even worse was how a blue line of fire was following as if something sharp were cutting the carpet and floor.

Dashing inside a room that I somehow thought would keep me safe was quickly engulfed in the ghost flames, and with **** possibly quickly closing in around me, I would have screamed like a bitch if I hadn't noticed the patchwork floor.

So I began curb-stomping the floor as hard as I could, and only when a small circle of non-burning room was left, I finally fell through the floor and ate shit as I slammed my jaw right onto the counter.

"FUCK! Thank god the only people who could have possibly seen that are ghosts, and I don't think they're willing to say anything.

Sliding across the counter I found a paper that said the building went up in flames after the horror show happened here.

The doors are shit, as I can't find a handle; it probably got melted or the ghosts broke it off. The only thing left was a dumbwaiter, so that's the place I went, and inside the kitchen I went, where everything went batshit crazy as everything started flying at me or near me.

Leaving through the door, I found an actually working elevator that brought me to the second highest floor, and for the most part, things seemed normal and good until they weren't, and I ran right into a room where I found the woman's last moments.

"So the lady was in pure fear as she tried to hide from her husband, who killed everyone in his way of killing his entire family and then himself with an axe... Did this fucker try to trap his family in a form of hell of his own making?"

The second I said that, the place started to burn once again, and I started speeding through all the fire, rundown walls, and just about anything the creature could throw my way.

"SHIT! SHIT! SHIT!" Was all I screamed as everything started to close in, but thanks to the wife's ghost, I was sent to the past, or her safe haven, and that's where I found an amulet that could have freed the woman from her hell and that would have probably taken care of the husband as well.

With the girly heart amulet in my dark pockets, the room turns into a burnt mess, and everything goes quiet as I jump off everything right onto the ground floor with a fucked-up superhero landing, and after grabbing some watch, I leave the place to return the amulet to Theresa, who probably knew what was going on but didn't want to tell me in case I was scared of ghosts.

It was a massive pain in the ass getting back to Asylum since I first had to feed off rats in the sewers, as I'd rather not have half my body boiled and burnt enough that it resembled a raisin, Grandpa.

What made things even worse had to be that when I got out of the sewers, day was starting to arrive as what little sun started to shine all around me, and I just had to wonder. "How fucking long was I in there? Also, how fucking cursed is that place?" Since the hotel was as dark as midnight, for the sun to start coming up was honestly mind-blowing to me.

"For the first time I don't feel tired upon seeing the sun. Maybe I'm getting stronger, or maybe I just used less energy. Either way, I can't just stand around and wait for the sun to come out."

Dashing my way to the apartment, I ignore everything that might have been around me or going on in the streets, as I needed to get out before the sun came up.

But as my apartment sucks and has a basic blind with gaps revealing the sunlight, I was **** to slumber underneath my bed as the feeling of sunlight on my body has now gone from a slight annoyance to become an itching powder/rash feeling on my body.

Honestly, I had no idea how I was supposed to fall asleep while hiding under my bed so I could avoid the light, but before I knew it, I was back inside the blood world or whatever this place was and didn't have that much blood in the rusted chalice.

With only three points, I went and poured them on things I left alone last time and then added the final point to the tavern.

After doing so, the little stall actually became a little tavern that had run-down furniture and more cobwebs than he knew what to do with, as well as the place creaking and covered in so much dust that with every step made, dust floated up a bit.

The others just became like the rest, and honestly, I didn't really care that much compared to the massive tavern that was I found before waking up.

Like most things in life, or at least when I became a vampire, my new mornings are woken up by something that makes it impossible to relax, as someone was beating the shit out of my door without even saying anything, so it probably wasn't any lawman coming after me.

"Who is it?"
