Chapter 88 by Duskford Duskford

Who interrupted the siblings' conversation?

Heather did

Taylor looked up, her eyes landing on the blue-eyed brunette she knew by the name of Heather Ravers. She couldn’t recall ever talking to the girl though, since Zack only became friends with her after Taylor already had left town for college.

However, when she glanced back at her little brother, Taylor was almost amazed at the genuine smile she saw on his face at seeing Heather, similar to the ones he displayed when seeing Victoria.

”Is he liking Heather now?” She wondered, a thoughtful look on her face. ”Or both?”

The older girl shifted her eyes to Heather again as she descended the steps that connected the deck to the ground, a big smile plastered on her face.

”Hmm, it seems that at least on this one it’s mutual,” Taylor continued to muse. ”I gotta find out about Victoria, it’s well past time for Zachary to have a little happiness.”

“You two know each other, right?” Zack asked, once Heather joined them.

“Not formally, Zack,” Taylor replied. “I’m a little out of the loop with the friends you made after I left town.”

“Ok, then, Taylor, this is my friend Heather,” He said. “Heather, this is my sister Taylor. There, now you know each other.”

The two girls chuckled before shaking hands. As they made a bit of small talk, Zack’s face turned into a slight frown when he noticed how alike Taylor and Heather were, look wise. Sure, their facial features were different, but both of them had the same dark brown hair and the same shade of blue on their eyes. The more striking differences were Taylor’s height, she was an inch taller than even him, and Heather’s bigger chest.

He was snapped out of his thoughts when Heather said something that made Taylor laugh. Zack had to smile at that, glad that the two of them were getting along.

“Well, I should probably get going now, still have to sort out some stuff at our cabin,” Taylor said. “But, listen you two, we’ll probably do something there tonight so, why don’t you gather whoever wants to come and show up there at, let’s say, eight o’clock?”

“A party?” Heather asked, her eyes lighting up.

“No, the party will be tomorrow,” The older of the Bishop siblings clarified. “Today it’ll be just a small get together, you know?”

“Sounds fun, I’ll be there,” Zack said. “It’s on that giant-like cabin across the lake?”

Taylor nodded. ”Great, and don’t forget what I told you, mister,” She warned, pointing her right index finger at her brother, before turning around. “See you guys later!”

Zack and Heather watched his sister walk to where Ashley and Hannah were hugging by the lake before Heather turned to him, an inquisitive look on her face.

“So, a party that’s not a party,” She said. “Think we even should make dinner here?”

Zack shrugged. “I don’t know, but we should probably ask first if someone wants to go there.”

“Good point,” Heather agreed. “Let’s do it.”

That said, Zack followed her up the steps to the deck, all the while admiring the delightful sway of her hips in front of him as she walked.

What did Ashley wanted to talk about with Hannah?
