Chapter 186 by Vain Vain

So who's going where, and with whom?

Eventually, they all return to the cabin again

It seemed like Ash and Vicky were fully content to just remain on their spot, chatting quietly with one another, while sharing what little was left of their beer. Thus Zack didn't wish to disturb them, even if he did want to speak to them both in private - just not with both of them at once.

So he decided to follow the other two guys instead, on a short walk down the beach, just to keep himself occupied from thinking of what happened earlier that day. It was starting to feel somewhat surreal to him, that he'd actually been getting it on with three of his female friends on the same day, and even more so at the very same time as well.

He really didn't know what to think of it anymore, and again started wondering if there was something in the air out here, that somehow turned all of them into sex-craving madmen.

"It would explain why Heather has always been the way she is..." He smirked to himself, considering that she'd practically been raised in the area, though he had to admit that the whole idea was completely ridiculous. "I guess it's just a phase in our lives then...?"

"What are you mumbling about, back there?" Brandon suddenly interrupted his thoughts, and almost caused him to lose his footing as both of his friends stopped to look back at him. "Hey, easy there man!"

"Yeah, thanks..." Zachary grunted in embarrassment, and realized they'd already reached the edge of the forest, which meant they were about to head back to the girls again. "I was just lost in thoughts, that's all."

"Yeah, we noticed." The other guy gave him a friendly pat on the shoulder, and then took the lead towards the grill.

"Oh, shit!" Heather gasped in surprise, as she bumped right into Chloe on her way out of the kitchen. Her short stay in the dark cellar had apparently spooked her a little more than she'd thought - just like it'd done when she was still a kid -, and she'd really not expected to meet any of the others inside the cabin.

"I'm sorry!" The redhead flashed her a quick grin, before trying to help her with what she was carrying in her arms. The whole incident could have ended a lot worse than it actually did, considering the amount of beer cans and the bottle of whiskey that Heather was carrying on a tray in front of her.

"You should have told me to come along after all...!" Chloe continued with a frown on her pretty face, while they carried the tray together to the living room table. "What's all this for anyway? I knew you wanted us to switch rooms and all, but I thought we'd be supposed to be able and walk there on our own at the end of the evening...?"

"Well, I guess we're not going to drink it all actually...!" Heather agreed, with a somewhat embarrassed little laughter, and had to admit to herself that just maybe she'd overdone it by a little. She didn't want to reveal her plan though, but could tell that the other girl was having her suspicions already.

"So, why did you follow me then...?" She smoothly changed the subject, and found that she was fairly interested in the answer. It wasn't like she'd expected Chloe to be up for something naughty right now - like they'd been hinting to one another back at the beach -, but then again she couldn't know for sure, after their last little session together...

"I just needed the bathroom, actually!" The redhead defended herself, but with a cute blush starting to rise on her cheeks. Perhaps she was perfectly honest about it when she decided to go, though it was just as obvious that she knew exactly what Heather was thinking of in that moment.

"Oh, okay then..." The busty cheerleader captain smiled then, and stepped aside to let the other girl through, but stopped her briefly again while she was starting to move. Their kiss wasn't all that long or deep, but just enough to be a teaser for both of them, and to renew their promise for more a bit later...

Meanwhile, Gavin was the first one to point out that it was actually getting a little cold to keep playing outside - especially if they'd keep to the current rules of the card game they were playing -, and was met with nods from both of his two friends. Not that either one of them would actually admit to freezing already, but for the sake of the girls they should definitively consider a change of location.

Neither Ashley or Vicky had any objections either, once the guys caught up with them again, and soon enough all five of them were on their way back to the cabin again. Sadly, there was still no opportunity for Zachary to talk to each of the girls in private, but at least they got into chatting a little outside of their own little bubble.

Then, just a few minutes later, they met up with Heather and Chloe again - who'd apparently reached the same conclusion as themselves, and even started up the fireplace, before deciding to head back for the others.

And so they returned to the game again, with fresh amounts of beer on the table, and a full glass of whiskey for everyone - even if Brandon gave Heather a doubtful glance as he checked out the brand, which pretty much told her that she'd indeed end up in some trouble with her dad...

But first, let's see this game to an end...?
