Making an Animal out of Maisie

You look at Maisie like the beautiful blank canvas that she has unwittingly made herself for you. You can change her as many times as you like in whatever ways you want, so there is no need for any fear of missing out here. But the first transformation is always going to be special, and you want to make it something you are certain to enjoy. You can't resist dragging the moment out and teasing your now fully transformable crush a little before that happens though.

"Maisie, you are going to become an animal for me"

"Yes Master" she nods obediently but with a look of dismay "Which animal would you like me to become for you?"

You laugh joyfully to yourself at just how perfect this situation is as you consider her question carefully. You are still not ready to lock in a decision just yet.

"I have a shortlist in mind for your first transformation, Maisie. Would you like to hear it?"

She gives you a look like she can't quite believe this is really happening. The last thing Maisie wants to hear about is a shortlist of creatures you are considering turning her into. But being caught out by surprise and suddenly finding herself as a worm or a slug would surely be worse. So, reluctantly, she nods at you.

"Okay, so first up, a cat" you reveal "A nice, sleek, black one, like a witch might own. You have a bit of a cat vibe about you anyway, and I think it would be a nice first transformation to ease you in. It would also be very easy for me to pass you off as my pet. So we could continue to hang out together without me needing to turn you back too quickly"

Maisie just looks at you, saying nothing. Perhaps she doesn't even know what she could say. This probably all feels too crazy to be real. And yet it is. You continue listing your options.

"Secondly, a toad"

Maisie jolts noticeably at that one and winces a little, which is exactly the reaction you wanted.

"You would be small, ugly, fat, warty and utterly insignificant. Something really low down on the food chain. I have spent so long looking up to you because of your beauty. It would be fun to take that completely away from you for a while. It might even be good for you. There is a pond not far from here. I could make you sit in it for a bit and watch from a bench as you become literal pond life"

Maisie now looks a mixture of fearful, angry and resentful, but again she says nothing. She has nothing nice to say about this proposal and knows antagonising you wouldn't be smart right now.

"Thirdly, a chimpanzee" you smile "I just think it would be funny. You take yourself way too seriously sometimes, and maybe a spell as an ape would help you with that. Maybe it isn't the most convenient form for you to be in while we are in public, but I could easily drive you back to mine. And you would still be you, just in chimp form. So I wouldn't need to worry about you smashing up my apartment or anything"

Once again, Maisie says nothing. Perhaps she doesn't want to give you the satisfaction of playing along with this, or wasting her breath trying to talk you out of it when she knows she can't. You do want to hear her thoughts in this moment though.

"So Maisie, You are going to be one of those three animals very soon. But which one of them would you like it to be?"

"A cat, I guess" she shrugs without even a hint of enthusiasm.

It was the answer you knew she was going to give. It is clearly the least bad option. A cat is a dignified creature, nice to look at and neither clumsy nor comical. It's not like Maisie would ever want to be one, and effectively become your temporary pet. But tho other two possibilities would be completely unpalatable to her.

"Duly noted" you nod "And I will take that into consideration. But, of course, the final decision isn't yours. It's mine"
