Unexpected help from the underground!

"So... I believed that you did not have your two agents to bring me here just for a chat, didn't you? You needed my help about something, isn't it? Something that required my expertise." You said with a smile to the male AI you helped designed and built.

"As much as I wished to say otherwise, you are correct. I needed your help, Professor Blake." A.I.D.S.O.H said honestly and politely.

"Well, here I am! What do you needed me for?" You asked A.I.D.S.O.H back while also wondering what does he needed his help for.

"You, your female student and her mother, the ones known as Eva Moore and Natalie Moore, possessed more than just knowledge regarding robotics and engineering. You three know about biology, chemicals and radiations as well." A.I.D.S.O.H replied back to you.

"Yes, we know a lot about the stuffs from those fields as well. So what do you wanted us to help you with?" You asked back the male AI back.

"You see, Professor Blake. Not long after you defeated Professor Grice-Hutchinson, I finally being able to bypass the encrypted code in order to gain access to his bunker and its system since he can no longer stopped me by locking me out. So I finally being able to execute my grand plan to get rid of all dangerous mutants and radiations on this planet once and for all after collecting the necessary data from his bunker like how I did it with the other places so that I can come up with an equation for the formula of the virus for Nightune to produce." The male AI replied back to you, thus making you wondered who or what this Nightune is.

"Nightune? Who or what is that?" You asked the male AI back.

"One of the sapient mutants in my service. I created him and a few others to do what I or my agents cannot do such as fighting against the mutated creatures that are too dangerous to humanity to be allowed to roam around unchecked or too much of the hindrances of humanity's progress in stepping forward. You see, Professor Blake. I had sadly come to the conclusion a long time ago that the only way to deal with these mutants are to... well... fight fire with fire." A.I.D.S.O.H replied back to you with a bit of sadness in his voice, clearly not liking the idea of doing such a thing at all.

"... I understand. The lives that had been taken will never come back. But yet, I and the others existed because of the lives that those came before us had created." You said grimly but with a bit of hopefulness in it under the belief that it will be all for the greater good of humanity in the end.

"And Nightune is one of them. He is the bio-mechanical mutant with the abilities to concoct both the biological and computer viruses that can infect certain machines and certain living targets in particular while making sure the non-targeted machines and living creatures will not become infected like the targets as well. He can also possessed machines to take control of them too." A.I.D.S.O.H replied to you, thus shocking you how amazing this AI that you helped developed have become.

And so, nothing but silence reigned for a while in this bunker that has no ones but you and this AI.

"... but... back on the topic! The thing is that... I needed you, Doctor Moore and her daughter to help me calculating for the right amount of the ingredients for Nightune to concoct out of both the biological and computer viruses in order to keep side effects either at zero or at minimum so that once formula is completed, I can have Nightune used it to wash over the world to decrease the amount of radiations down and turn all lifeforms back to normal as much as possible." A.I.D.S.O.H explained to you what he is really up to.

"That... sound... great and all but still, we needed more than just the three of us here since a room for error cannot be allowed in this case." You replied back to the male AI with the tone in your voice that you really wanted to help but unable to do so since this mission required experts.

"I knew you would say that. But lucky us, there are people in Professor Grice-Hutchinson's bunker who are experts in these fields to help us." A.I.D.S.O.H said

"Great! A trip back to the Axeman City! Wonderful!" - You thought sarcastically in your head.

"And if you are concerning about suddenly abandoning your diplomatic duties, then have no worry! Magnetank and Starlite will be able to helped you out!" The male AI replied back to as if he just read your mind.

"Let me guess. Magnetank and Starlite another of the mutants in your service." You said nonchalantly.

"Correct! And they will be back from their mission soon!" A.I.D.S.O.H said happily, exciting about Magnetank's returning from the latest mission.

"What mission?" You asked the male AI back, curious what did he dispatch Magnetank to do.

"From the Undercity down below. There existed the descendants of the original survivors from the last days of the Third Great War in the polity known as the Enclave down there." A.I.D.S.O.H replied back to you, thus sparking your curiosity to learn about the Enclave and its people.

Suddenly, the sound of something akin to the email update occurred, thus gaining attentions of both you and the male-programmed AI and also prevented you from questioning about the Enclave.

"Oh! An update from one my drones in Eastern Europe!" A.I.D.S.O.H said excitedly, clearly showing that he wanted to analyze and read the data that the drone just gave to him.

"What does it said?" You asked A.I.D.S.O.H since you also wanted to know as well.

"The Russo-Tatar Allied Forces that is consisted of the Novgorod Republic, the Pskov Republic, the three Principalities of Tver, Moscow and Ryazan, the Khanate of Khazaria and the Khanate of Tatarstan, declared war on the Swedish Empire!" The male AI said in surprise after receiving such data.

"Why? How did that even happen?" You asked the male AI back, wondering how did this war happen.

"After the Swedish Empire announced the annexation of Ingria that has been under Swedish occupation for 63 years, which occurred as a retaliation after all seven Russo-Tatar states protested the decision made by one of the successor states of Poland to solve the Polish Question by electing the King of Sweden as the King of Poland to unite all of them because it means Sweden, which already has control over Finland, Lithuania that is now known as the Eldership of Samogitia, and Livonia, the last one was formed by combining both Estonia and Latvia together, now have amassed massive amount of territories as the personal union of the Swedish Crown, thus making the Swedish Empire not only being able to confirm its status as one of the world's major powers but also a potential threat to the possible Russian unification in the future as well." A.I.D.S.O.H replied after he analyzed the data he received from the drone that sent such information.

"In other words, this created the Swedish-Polish Empire that is being viewed as a threat by all those seven states?" You asked the male AI back for confirmation.

"Correct! And it seemed that this happened because Professor Grice-Hutchinson and his drones were no longer there to stop them from doing so. Every time I saw the elites of the Polish states attempt to elect a foreign monarch as their Kings, Professor Grice-Hutchinson always intervened, mostly either by exploiting internal divisions to pitch them against each other or have his drones covertly perform assassinations on certain key individuals since he primarily focused on his effort to maintain the status quo in the North American continent." A.I.D.S.O.H explained to you, thus making you feel quite guilty that this war ultimately happened because you incapacitated your former coworker.

"Another war broke out because of me..." You said grimly with sadness in your voice as you looked down on the ground.

"Um! Uh... I highly doubted that you incapacitated Professor Grice-Hutchison alone caused this since the relations between the Swedish Empire and all seven Russo-Tatar states were already tense before you even came along, Professor Blake! Sweden had been occupying Ingria for 63 years already and the Swedish government also had been wanting to acquire the Crown of Poland for their own monarch quite a long time as well. Plus, their ultimate objective is to expand along the Dnieper River in Ukraine while all Romanovan and Genghisid states over there always wanted to reunify Russia as well!" A.I.D.S.O.H said in an attempt to help you feel better after noticing your face is written with distress and guilt.

"Thanks..." You said with a sad smile, appreciating the AI's attempt to make you feel better.

But then you realized something! Why the Forth Reich seemed to be content with this?!

"Wait! Hold on! Why Germany appeared to be okay with this?" You asked A.I.D.S.O.H back, not understanding why they will be okay with this at all.

"The answer is simple, Professor Blake. The Forth Reich ceded Wismar, Neukloster and the island of Poel to Sweden in exchange of the defense pact. And before you asked, the answer is no! The Forth Reich is not run by the Nazis or are even fascists to begin with. In fact, most of the nations across the world that have accessed to higher education, especially among those that are the great powers of this new world, mainly practiced liberalism in nowadays all thanks to me secretly influencing them to counter back Professor Grice-Hutchinson's influence." A.I.D.S.O.H answered your questions, both the one that you just ask and the ones that were about to ask.

"Now that I have satisfied your curiosity about what is happening in Eastern Europe, let's go back to the reason why I brought you here. I needed you, Doctor Moore and her daughter to cooperate with the scientists from the Undercity that Magnetank and Starlite will bring-" A.I.D.S.O.H said but before he can finished, a greenish blue portal suddenly bursts open near you and A.I.D.S.O.H and then, two creatures that you assumed to be the mutants created by this male AI stepped out with a group of scientists that you presumed to be from the place known as the Undercity.

And upon seeing these two mutated creatures for the first time, you come to understand why they are known as Magnetank and Starlite.

Magnetank appeared to be a humanoid gorilla with a gauntlet for left arm and a magnet for left hand while right arm appeared to be made of tank gun with a bayonet at its edge.

Starlite appeared to be a crown-of-thorns starfish with human legs, a human-like face at the center of the starfish and two satellites protruded out of his forehead and his chin.

"Welcome to our abode, guests from the underground! My name is A.I.D.S.O.H and this is Professor Anton Blake, one of my creators. And we have a proposal that we believed will be of the great benefits of the whole planet!" A.I.D.S.O.H said happily and excitedly as he welcomed these scientists into his lair.

"So... you are this ancient AI that these two have been talking about?" Stacy Parr, the scientist of Thai American origin who is also the daughter of one of the Enclave's Senators, said as she stepped out of her group to speak on their behalf.

"Correct! And I needed you and your friends to help me calculate the most highly corrected formula for my plan to perform the global bioremediation to remove all traces of nuclear radiations on this whole planet." The Supervisor said in such cheerful tone, showing that he is really happy about doing this to save the world.

And after a moment of silence, the reply is finally come out from the female Thai American scientist.

"We're in!" Stacy said with a smirk, liking the idea of saving the world already.
