What's next?
A Contest of Speed and Trust Part 3
Hailey checked the clock in the room, and sure enough, it was only 2:10. Z and Janessa had gone so fast that Felix had looked disoriented more than anything else.
"Well, we're down to the last three, whose up next?" The demon asked the group.
"I'll go." Hailey knew she stood no possible chance of being as fast as the others had been, but wanted to get it over with.
She walked over the puddle that was Noah, wishing she had the slime girl's guidance. But Hailey needed to do things on her own, and she had gotten an upgrade meant to help her with this. However, as she started to run, she was struck by the question of where to go. Her upgrade hadn't given her any of the physical advantages her competitors had, and she still wasn't as fit as Cameron, or even Winters for that matter. Hanging out with nerds was not exactly an optimal exercise plan, and having the skill to do athletics didn't make up for a lack of consistent exercise.
With all of that mind, she chose to take the second from the left pathway, and went into a steady jog. Once she entered the pathway, she entered a simple hallway with concrete walls blocking her view of the other pathways, and a metallic floor. This portion of the path was easy, which meant once again, Hailey was alone and trapped with thoughts was trying to avoid. When the hills of sorts came up, that did little to help, as while she wasn't fit, her upgrade had ensured she didn't need to think about it at all.
Hence, Hailey was stuck spiraling. She was here because she ignored Felix, at least in part. Sure, the demon had hinted pretty strongly that she was also here to punish him, but she wouldn't have been chosen in the first place for that role if she hadn't given him the cold shoulder. It wasn't just after the bullshit that happened with Zachary, even beforehand she had been distant from him. Why? She didn't hate him, and he hadn't done anything gross, or made some creepy joke the way some people in Noah's circle did.
Even when Hailey reached a sheer drop with a choice of stairs and a ladder, her body's instinctual ability to do physical tasks like this meant she stuck in that cloud of thoughts...
Felix, once again, was alone. After a few minutes had passed, and he did not get rescued, the blindfold started up again. However, this time it went back to being vague, and distant sounding, like a whisper on the wind.
"You're all alone now..."At this point the standard taunts from the voices were losing their impact.
After all, Felix had now been rescued four times. Even though he still felt a little bruised from the trip with Noah, she had regained his trust. Heck, Smith had jacked him off despite hating his guts before they arrived at the bunker, and Z... well, wasn't Zachary. From what he could tell, Zachary was just a passenger in her body, completely unable to affect the outside world, or have any meaningful input into any decisions she made. Heck, she may have hated Zachary more than he did, which given had been hit by Zachary several times, along with spat on, was saying a lot.
"Alright Felix, time to go!" It was Hailey's voice. For a brief moment, Felix thought he maybe could leave earlier than usual...
...but when he headed in that direction, she wasn't there. This was quite common when whoever was rescuing Felix took awhile, and the trickery was what allowed the blindfold's jabs to get to him.
"Hailey thought you were a creep," The voices said. "She hated that a loser like you was constantly in her space."
Well, at least Felix knew who was coming to get him, but it also meant that the blindfold would get more personal and biting in its chosen attacks. He had, after all, been through this cycle before with Cameron, where the blindfold would do an extremely cruel game of pretending to let him think she was nearby, and then launch into reasons they would despise him.
"Felix, lets go!" Was she here this time, or was it the voices again...
In only a few few minutes after Hailey left, Winters started pacing around. She hadn't gone before because she was having a deep internal argument between her two sides. Benjamin Winters was, as usual, bitching about what she did to Felix, and how sex with her students was a fundamental breach of ethics. Kei Winters would counter about the nature of the game, and how he had no place to talk about her being a bad teacher given his issues educating students, especially Felix. This eventually culminated in a stalemate as it always did, with Kei Winters retaining complete control over their shared body, and Benjamin Winters being left to sulk.
However this time when Kei Winters arose from her perpetual inner argument, she was stuck waiting around with the others on a metal platform that had the entrance to the obstacle course for the competition, and no exit. Given that neither version of Winters like waiting around in a situation what was somehow both tense and boring, she chose to go check a nearby screen to see how the harem had been scoring as a whole.
VP Amounts:
Noah = 15 VP
Hailey = 5 VP
Cammy = 55 VP
Winters = 45 VP
Z = 30 VP
Janessa Smith = 30 VP
Austin = -10 VP
Well, Kei Winters could now see that Cameron's bit of affection towards Felix in front of everyone had given her a bit of VP. After all, she doubted they had time to do anything dirty while they were in the obstacle course together, especially given it would have to be something they hadn't done before. At least she was still in second place in the most important ranking for the show, VP. If only she knew more about the consequences of failure for this particular competition...
Hailey got through the stairs, the ladders, and the water without ever having to pay much attention. She wasn't going super fast, she was too out of shape for that, but her knowledge of athletic activity meant her body apparently remembered how to do stuff to the point where it was like she was on autopilot. Hence, her thoughts had plenty of time to fester, and make her question her own decisions. But, she had finally gotten to Felix who was wandering around... and was crying.
"Felix?" Hailey asked, preparing for the worst.
"Are you real?" Felix turned in her direction, and seemed to be setting himself up for the worst.
"Yeah, I'm real," Hailey said. "I'm the girl who ignored you when she shouldn't have."
"Lets get out of here." Felix held out his hands, desperation obvious.
Hailey went over to Felix, and embraced him. She hadn't done anything sexual with him yet, but in this moment, he needed something more than just her hand on his.
"I never hated you, got it?" Hailey asked while tears fell from her face.
"Then why didn't you want to be near me?"
"As I said, too scared of drama," Hailey said. "That, and the last time I tried to help someone, it blew up in my face."
She then took his hand, and they headed back. Felix had been led back this way before by Cammy, so he knew what to do when they encountered certain obstacles. This combined with Hailey's new ability to make the trip back uneventful in the best sense. Neither were going to set a record, and it was something she should've been more worried about given her low VP, but in the moment, she was able to just enjoy a nice run back...
Winters stopped her contemplation about what would happen if she got a low score when she saw Hailey and Felix come back. It was 2:45 when they got back, and Hailey had taken the longest out of the bunch so far. It made sense because while Hailey looked good to Kei Winters, it was clear she hadn't been working out.
"Thirty-five minutes," the demon said. "Feels positively glacial after our last two contestants."
Hailey just glared at her in return before settling in with the others again. Before Felix left, Cameron tried to run up to him, to reassure him. Seeing this, the demon wrapped him in the blindfold again, and teleported him away. It was just before Cameron could've touched him, and the sorrow Winters could see in their eyes... that was love. Cameron was going to have a terrible time in this competition if they were as possessive, or even protective, of Felix as young lovers could be.
In that moment, Winters decided it was time for her to get this over with, something even Benjamin Winters could grudgingly agree with. The longer she waited, the worse conditions could get, as there was an overarching time limit of 4:50, and besides, Austin was still sulking in the corner. It made no sense to wait for a contestant that was on the way out.
"I'll go." Winters said as stepped around the still sleeping Noah, and ran out into the obstacle course. She had thankfully brought a pair of runners with her, and otherwise some athletic gear, but, as much as Kei Winters loved her body, she wasn't going to pretend it was optimal for activities like this.
As she ran out into the obstacle course, Winters decided to go for the middle path. She wasn't sure what lay ahead, but she hoped whatever obstacles were in could be navigated. Maybe if she was lucky it would be based on brains rather than brawn, and take advantage of her, along with to some extent Benjamin's, skill at puzzles, logic, among other things. And when first entered the middle pathway, it seemed just fine, as it was a curving walkway leading to something. But then...
...Winters turned a corner and found herself staring at a vertical cliff. It wasn't a natural cliff, being made of concrete that was almost certainly reinforced given its height and shape, but still, it was a cliff. Benjamin Winters immediately started whining about how they shouldn't have taken this pathway, and he soon was in the midst of an anxious rant in her head. Kei Winters decided for the moment to ignore that, and examine the area around the cliff. Was there something she didn't see that made this more doable? The demon had said after all that humans could take the middle pathway, just that it would be tricky. Tricky sounded right up her alley, both as someone who tricked parents into thinking she wasn't fucking their sons, and someone who had a better grasp of calculus than some engineers she had met.
Her investigation was disappointing. Kei Winters had found footholds through which she could climb the cliff, but there was no safety harness, or any other climbing equipment she could find. The demon really expected someone to do this by hand, or to have some kind of advantage that would make it easier from their transformation. Still, given the time she had spent here, and that her risk of injury was nonexistent, she took a deep breath...
...and started climbing...
Cameron was getting antsy, to the point where even with Noah still a pile of goo on the floor, they started to pace back and forth in the room to try to let off stress. Cammy was still reeling from having Felix taken away from her over and over again, most cruelly by the demon when she tried to comfort him just a few minutes ago. The male side of Cameron was worried he was going to lose control at a bad moment, or lose an argument with Cammy, which would cause her to do something they'd both regret. Both sides of Cameron could see how much Felix was being hurt by this, to have to over and over again have a bunch of bullshit fed into his ears while being unable to see anything until someone came to get him. Worse, he'd have to listen to that crap all the way back, or at minimum, be in complete darkness while shepherded through a scary location.
Of course, that wasn't the only thing causing them to be frustrated. Cameron had seen how the demon pause and look at Janessa when she talked about not being able to grab Felix without his permission. Had she done something? After all, Cameron had also been there when the demon had introduced exceptions to the rules that did allow someone to gain VP by bypassing his consent, despite being the master. They had even taken advantage of it themselves by orchestrating a scheme to get him shirtless, but that was just harmless fun. But what did Janessa do?
That question soon burned in their mind. Cammy could accept the idea that Felix was going to be with other women. She didn't love it, but given her own experience fucking guys in front of their girlfriends, she could live with the fact that he would fuck other women, including when she wasn't around. However, she couldn't accept that Felix was going to get preyed on by people who wouldn't respect his consent, and that other contestants were even encouraged to do so by the rules the demon had laid out. These thoughts soon burned too strong in her mind, and the male side of Cameron could do nothing to stop them from marching over to Janessa.
"What did you do?" Cameron asked the fallen angel, point blank.
The fallen angel's presence was haunting, but also very sexy. That often made it hard for other contestants to talk to Janessa, and in general made them avoid her. However, Cameron found out that being angry at her made this aura of sorts the fallen angel had less effective. At the moment she had been just relaxing on the wall, waiting for the competition to wrap up.
"What do you mean?" Janessa asked, standing up while she did so.
Janessa's voice was powerful, something even Cammy in that moment couldn't deny, as even in a deeply unsexy conversation, they were starting to get horny from her voice. However, this effect was not enough to overcome the still building anger Cameron had.
"The demon paused her rules explanation to look at you after saying we couldn't grab Felix without his permission," Cameron said. "What did you do?"
The conversation was getting loud enough that the rest of the room was starting to pay attention, something the male side of Cameron noticed, but not Cammy. She was too angry, staring at this creature that had potentially violated Felix. Was that how she gotten a bunch of her VP? By forcing him into something he didn't want to do?
Jenessa sighed before responding. "I jacked him off in the middle of an argument."
What followed for the male side of Cameron happened in slow motion, as he could do absolutely nothing to stop it. There was no possible argument he could muster that calm down Cammy in time to prevent her current course of action. Not when she had specifically cut her own father out of her life for similar behavior, and not when it involved Felix being hurt.
Hit Another Contestant: -15 VP
She slapped Janessa in the face. It wasn't a hard slap, but the sound of it still echoed through the room like a gunshot. At that point, the male side of Cameron got through to Cammy, and they were both able to walk away from Janessa, but it was too late.
"Cameron." The demon said in the tone of strict, and angry, teacher.
Cameron turned to face her as the demon walked over. The demon got right up to her, in her personal space, and the aura of terror she had turned off... returned.
"I'm only going to give you one warning," the demon said. "Do not do that again. I know you want to protect Felix, but you know **** outside of sex and BDSM is unacceptable."
The hypocrisy of that was infuriating to Cammy, but, the overwhelming terror of the demon's presence managed to calm her down. The male side of Cameron notably that chose to respond by nodding, and scurrying off to sit with the others.
It was in that tense moment, where everyone was scared from the demon's wrath, that everyone, including Cameron, got to find out what happened when someone almost died on the obstacle course. Winters popped into the room like poorly timed comic relief, and fell to the floor screaming onto the sleeping of goo on the ground known as Noah. While her fall was at least cushioned, it also splattered Noah's slime all over the place. She then screamed again because she was in the presence of a demon who forgotten to turn off her scary aura.
"Oh, sorry about that." The demon said and Winters managed to then stop screaming after the demon did some inscrutable thing to turn off her aura of terror.
Kei Winters had started to make progress. She didn't dare look down, but looking ahead, it seemed like she was already about a third of the way up the cliff despite having only . However, the footholds were getting harder and harder to reach, as they got ever so slightly further away from each other as she scaled the cliff side. Still, she kept on climbing, knowing that this route would be faster than the other ones on offer.
The whole time, Benjamin Winters was panicking. While Kei Winters could mostly ignore this as white noise in the background, it was much harder to when she was doing something this difficult. No matter how many times she tried telling him to shut up in her mind, he wouldn't, and instead kept whining about how the rewards of a high ranking position were not possibly worth taking this extremely dangerous route. All of this came to a head when Winters came to a point where they both realized they would have to make a small jump in order to progress.
She stopped briefly, but not to reconsider. Kei Winters did everything in her power to get Benjamin to shut the fuck up, including screaming it in real life. Then, she went for the jump, and just about gripped a foothold...
...only for Benjamin at the worst possible moment to scream in terror in Winter's mind at the sensation of the jump, and how fragile the initial grip felt. What followed, despite Kei Winters trying to get a grip with her other hand was that they fell. Both parts of Winters screamed, but in that moment Kei Winters felt more than terror from falling. She also felt a level of rage at Benjamin she had never felt for anyone else in her life as they both fell. Right before Winters hit the ground, she briefly blinked out of existence, and somehow lost enough velocity that she was able to safely crash on top of a sleeping Noah.
Felix was back to a place he was now a frustrating amount as once again, he was wearing a blindfold and wandering around. This was less because he was going towards hallucinated voices, and more because he was bored. Standing in place was not a good way to pass the time, and besides being emotionally distressing, being in an unknown location with a blindfold was very, very boring.
For the longest time, Felix didn't even hear anything except vague whispers from the blindfold. Whoever was coming to get him wasn't even nearby, as he had learned the hard way that the closer a contestant got, the louder, clearer, and more specific the voices from the blindfold were. Instead what he heard was just a lot of vague whispering about him being pathetic, about how nobody really loved or wanted him, and a bunch of crap said an asshole would say who lacked any specific details. That would've hurt before he met Cammy, but it didn't matter to him anymore.
Heck, it wasn't just Cammy. As screwed up as his relationship with Smith was, she clearly desired him, and wanted his body. As horrible as it was, Felix gained a kind of confidence from knowing how aggressively she wanted his body. And Winters, even if she didn't love him, very much loved his body, and for him, that was enough. It felt weird thinking this given how often he heard that objectification was a bad thing, but it felt amazing for people to desire him for his body, because it was an assurance that he was hot.
"She will use you and throw you away," the voices said. "Winters fucks boys like you all the time that are hotter than you."
That frustrated an immature part of Felix. But that frustration was balanced out by the knowledge that it meant Winters was coming closer and that he already knew she had sex before. Heck, he knew Cammy had sex with other men before him, and it didn't bother him at all. What mattered was that they both desired him, and while he wasn't into NTR, he didn't mind knowing that he was just one guy out of several that had fucked Kei Winters. Maybe he'd mind it more if they ever got back to Earth, but that was so far off into the future, and who knows how many more potential transformations, that it was an academic concern at best.
"Alright Felix lets go!" The voices said, as Felix found out when he went to Winter's voice and, once again, they were not there. This pattern continued for awhile, until...
...Felix heard someone muttering to themselves in Japanese. The voice was angry, but not at him. It kind of sounded like someone giving an angry lecture to somebody else, only pausing to take deep breaths. Then, finally, he heard,
"Alright, Felix, can I get you out of here?" Winters said.
"Of course-" Felix didn't even get to finish his sentence before Winters yanked his arm and took him with her.
"I'm sorry, but we got to run." Kei Winters said. "I had to take the long way here, and we will unfortunately be taking the long way back because Benjamin Winters is a pathetic coward who will whine like a bitch if I don't."
After Cameron's outburst, and Winter's sudden appearance, the waiting room for the obstacle course was in chaos. Not violent, if anything people were desperately trying to get away from each other, the demon, and the slime at the center of the room. It didn't help when the slime began to reform into a person and Noah said,
"What the fuck just happened?" Noah asked. "I'm not hurt, but why did someone drop on me while I was sleeping? And why are you all backing off into the corners of this room?"
Noah's voice had the mix of confusion and frustration that often arises when woken up by a loud party at four in the morning. She hadn't seen anything, not even the person who fell on them, she just woke up with her body all over the place again, including on people.
"Because you're a gross pile of goo, and-" Austin of all people tried to say while scraping off bits of goo from her face.
"Oh fuck you, you **** women, which we know because you molested Felix's own fucking mother!" Hailey cut Austin off with a single strong retort, while also scraping off bits of slime.
"You also have the emotional maturity of a toddler having a temper tantrum and even less ability to empathize with others!" Cameron screamed at Austin soon after.
"Alright, guys, guys, just please stop screaming at each other and tell me what's going on." Noah said while rubbing her head. She was learning that, unfortunately, rubbing her forehead didn't do anything to relieve a headache the way it did for a human being.
"The demon scolded Cameron after they slapped Janessa, and then Winters fell on top of you after presumably almost dying to a sudden fall." Z said. "She also left the room cursing in Japanese things I won't translate because I don't think your virgin ears could take it."
"Oh... wait, where is the demon?" Noah asked.
Everyone in the room looked around not noticing where she was, and soon, chaos resumed from her absence...
Winters was still furious. Not even a guy as sexy as Felix could distract her from how enraged she was by Benjamin's behavior. It wasn't enough that he completely fucked them when it came to time, but he also had the audacity to claim it was her fault for taking the cliff option. She cursed at him in ways, both out loud in Japanese, and in her head, in ways she had never done in her life before. This litany of insults already had made him cry, as she dug into every single pain point in his life with the verbal equivalent of a tarantula wasp sting, and a level of accuracy only someone who knows all of your memories can hurt you with. But even that wasn't enough to satisfy Kei Winters, not when Benjamin Winters had the audacity to argue she wasn't real, but instead just a creation of the demon.
Hence, while she was taking Felix all the way back to the starting point, and sprinting with him through a long, endless hallway that only had minor obstacles like boxes meant to waste time, she would take occasional breaks. These breaks were justified by that they needed to breaks from their sprints to catch their breath, but during them, she would tell Felix things like, "Benjamin Winters is a major part of why you, and the rest of us, are stuck here."
Before Felix could respond, or even fully process what she just said, she would drag him into a sprint again. This pattern continued, as Kei Winters would say how Benjamin Winters had, by driving him towards failing his math class, set him up to be a highschool dropout in his senior year. Worse, even if Felix did somehow get a high school diploma, he was doomed to a life of terrible jobs, because he had an undiagnosed learning disability that was likely to destroy any chance he had at passing even the basic math pre-reqs required for a college degree, much less anything that required more skill than that like a high paying STEM job. But somehow, all of that paled in comparison to what Winters said right before they got all the way back.
"He lied to your mother's face, repeatedly, about what you did in class," Kei Winters said. "He even inadvertently caused Smith to single you out, because his inability to teach you he blamed on you being a bad kid. Benjamin Winters even lied to himself about how he treated you, because he thought he was helping the rest of his students by isolating you. That's how much of a bad example he thought you were for something you could do absolutely nothing about."
By the time they got to the room everyone else was, Felix was crying, but not because of anything the blindfold whispered in his ear. Kei Winters had made him hate Benjamin Winters on a level that almost rivaled James Smith, and that broke him. It broke the narrative he had told himself about why everyone was there, because it wasn't just two bad apples in his life anymore. She hadn't told him a single lie to do that either.
Cameron, and everyone else, managed to calm down. Noah had woken up, and reformed themselves, managing to get all of the slime that they were made of back into their body. More than that, Cammy apologized several times to the male side of Cameron, saying she knew it was stupid to slap Janessa, but she just couldn't help herself. For his part, the male side of Cameron was understanding, and didn't try to argue about optimal strategy, or controlling one's emotions around even despicable people. Instead he apologized, saying that he should've stayed in Felix's life, and how by leaving, he had left Felix **** to someone like Smith. Both sides of Cameron managed to reconcile from this, and just in time.
"Sorry everyone," the demon said, "I had something to take care of, and well, Winters was taking awhile."
Before anyone could react to that, Felix came through the door, bawling his eyes out. At first everyone thought it was from the blindfold, but then Winters removed that blindfold and said, "I'm sorry about what he did to you Felix."
Winters then hugged Felix, and just held him as he bawled his eyes out. She whispered to him the way a mother does to calm down a hurt child, which somehow looked... perverse. Even Austin could tell, somehow, that Winters was the one who had done this. What had she told Felix on the way back that had hurt him more almost anything else so far?
"Well, I hate to say this but you have to do this one more time." The demon said while approaching Felix.
He didn't lash out, or try to resist at all. There was no element of surprise either, Felix just meekly accepted the blindfold again, and teleported out of the room.
"While you may hate your other half, was it worth making it take over forty-five minutes for you to get back?" The demon asked.
"If I get eliminated, Felix is going to know it was not my fault." Kei Winters said and then sat down with the others.
Another reality sank in, because it was Austin's turn. This caused Cameron to spring into action as she dragged Austin out of her seat, and brought her to the entrance of the obstacle course.
"Do not fuck this up," Cameron said to Austin. "This is your last possible chance to avoid elimination. Do you understand me?"
"Yeah I-"
"Do you really?" Cameron asked. "The whole time you have been here, you haven't done even the most basic of things to save yourself."
"I'm not going to suck dick to-" Austin whined before being cut off.
"You fucking idiot, is that what you think this is about?" Cameron cut Austin off before the urge to slap him became impossible to resist. "You didn't even apologize to him for what you did to his mother. I know that because if you had, you wouldn't be in negative VP right now."
Cameron then shoved Austin off into the obstacle course while screaming after him. "This is it! Fuck this up and you will lose EVERYTHING!"
In that moment, Cameron made peace with that, for all intents and purposes, they were probably going to soon see their father die. Cammy had cut him out of her life a long time ago, so other than whatever fragments of good memories she had left, and knowing how horrible it was going to be for Felix, she could live with it. But for the male side of Cameron, such closure did not come easily. He was watching someone he once emulated as a pathway to success destroy themselves because they were too stubborn, too stupid, and most of all, too selfish, to do anything else. So both sides, once again, cried...
Felix was still processing what Kei Winters had told him. She had told him before that Benjamin Winters was a bad teacher. But the detail she had gone into about how thoroughly Benjamin Winters had wrecked his life had changed everything. Such was his anguish that the blindfold didn't even bother to whisper anything, or if it did, Felix couldn't hear it over the sound of his own tears.
He had known he had difficulties with math, but for most of his life, Felix had just considered it a weak subject he maybe had to study more with, or get help from a smarter kid than him. It was something he had hoped Noah could help him with, for instance. But when he got to senior year, he had just hit a brick wall. That was when he thought was something wrong with him, but whenever he tried to get help from Winters, he would just get a pile of homework to do that did absolutely nothing to help him with the class. Once everything connected with Zachary happened, he had given up, figuring there was a high chance he was going to get expelled, or otherwise something would make it irrelevant. But if the whole time he had an undiagnosed math disability, it wasn't actually possible for him to just use more effort to pass the class, and every time he had stayed up studying was just time wasted for nothing.
That the same teacher which failed to meet him halfway with any of his problems had also been integral to causing them, and making him a useful scapegoat for James Smith had done more than reveal how horrible someone in his life was. It had broken the thing Felix told himself to live with the knowledge that he was at the mercy of a demon. Sure, the narrative that Austin White and James Smith were responsible had already gotten holes torn into it, but now it was gone. These thoughts continued to spiral, and spiral, as Felix cried so hard his eyes hurt.
At some point Felix stopped, perhaps because he had no more tears to shed. But then he remembered he was going to get rescued by Austin. Someone so infuriating and incapable of even basic human decency that in the body of a knockout bimbo while wearing fetishy secretary clothes, Felix still had to use every fiber of willpower in his being to not beat her to ****. He only thought of her as a woman because that, in some small petty way, made Austin suffer. It was in that moment of realization and recollection that the voices from the blindfold returned.
"He touched your mother," the voices said, "all over her body. You think it showed up in court?"
Felix got up, trying to do something to ignore the blindfold. He knew this was going to hurt, that the blindfold probably wouldn't even lie. The only thing motivating him to control himself was Cameron, and the knowledge that Austin was their father but-
"He had lawyers, paralegals, and an army of witnesses ready to lie," the voices continued, "What did she have? You think anyone stood up for her?"
He screamed. Felix yelled every obscenity he could think of trying to drown out the voices from the blindfold, but he couldn't.
"You sure couldn't help her," the voices continued. "You were too busy becoming the kind of basement dwelling loser that'd drain whatever money and joy your mother had left."
At that point, Felix didn't care anymore about the rules, he was just **** to tear off the blindfold. But whenever he grasped at that part of his head, all he could pull at was his hair.
"Felix come on, lets go," Austin said, "Stop screaming at nothing like a lunatic you brat."
Initially, he didn't respond. But then Felix said, "You better be fucking real. Now get me the fuck out of here, you selfish piece of shit."
He had wanted to say far worse things. But Felix was drained, and so didn't feel the need to say more than that. But then Austin grabbed him.
"That's it, I don't even care anymore," Austin said while dragging him. "You, and everyone else, have done nothing but shit on me the entire time I've been here. It's not like I **** your mother, or something, it was just me showing what she needed to do to climb the corporate ladder. So FUCK YOU!"
Felix was thrown off the platform. He fell, but before he hit anything, he blinked out of existence again like he had every time he had gone to the platform. Then he was caught by Vizrokoth, and she took off his blindfold.
"It's over Felix," Cameron said as she rushed up to him, and drew him into a hug. "It's over."
