What's next?
Sisters
Darx walked out the door with hope in his step. He didn’t feel like he was trapped in the church anymore. He had won his freedom. He would have time outside the church. Time to go back to his guild, grow stronger. Soon he would start setting things right in the kingdom. But tonight he had an important task, to make Wendy fall in love with him.
“Hey boys, we’ll take the guest back. The Priest wants us to help Darx here with his homework.” Came a familiar voice.
“O-of course, sister.” The guard outside the Priest’s office said as his face turned pink.
Darx turned, saw the guard eying him enviously as the gorgeous set of twins, Mary and Maggie, came up to him. They looked even more sexual, walked even more seductively if that was possible. Each took one of his arms in theirs, pressing their tits into him as they walked.
“Uh, hi ladies.” Darx said. He hadn’t expected them.
The one on his right laughed. “Oh Darx, you sweet-talker, you know just what to say to get a girl riled up.” She shook her hips and pressed her breasts even harder into his arm as she smiled at him. Darx was pretty sure she was mocking him.
“Be quiet, take this seriously for once.” The other one said.
This didn’t seem right to Darx, they weren’t behaving like they had before. What was going on?
“Where are you taking me?” he asked the first twin, he was pretty certain it was Mary, but she didn’t act quite right.
“To your room, silly,” The first twin said. “We know you have two women there, imagine the fun you’ll have with all four of us.”
“Yes, but Wendy. I need to focus on her.” Darx replied. Making Wendy fall in love with him was the most important thing he had to do, after all.
“Oh, well, don’t worry about that Darx, we can help with that too.” The twin answered.
Darx smiled. He had liked seeing Neku and Wendy interacting earlier. The image of all of them ganging up on Wendy was definitely a pleasant one. He didn’t think he needed help, but if the Priest had sent the twins to help him seduce Wendy, he wouldn’t complain.
“Look sister, that got him excited.” She continued.
“You need to stop, sister.” The other twin replied. The last word was spoken with incredible malice.
“You’re no fun.” The other pouted.
The un-fun sister, who he thought was Maggie, looked like she had more to say, but fortunately they reached his room before their little fight could go farther.
“Whoa, who are they?” Wendy asked as Darx and his companions entered the room.
“Mary, Maggie, what are you doing here?” Neku asked.
“We’re here for the party.” The fun twin, Mary, answered.
“Perhaps we should go. . .” The un-fun one replied.
“Oh, sister, come on. I want to have fun.” Mary complained.
Darx was confused what was going on. He just needed to spend time with Wendy, make her fall in love with him.
Neku dropped her robe, “Well, then. Let’s party.”
“See, sister.” the ‘fun’ twin, Mary, said, “She’s down.” As she started to remove her clothes.
“Yeah, let’s all have fun together.” Wendy said, walking towards Mary. Suddenly she jumped, tackling Mary. “Let’s see who you really are.”
“Shit, ow, let go!” Mary yelled as she was tackled. What was Wendy doing to her?
“Let go of her!” The other twin hissed, going to her sister’s aid. But Neku had her spear out and was in the way.
“What the hell is happening?” Darx asked, his head foggy. They weren’t supposed to be fighting. This isn’t how you make someone fall in love with you.
“That’s not Mary, Darx.” Neku said, pointing. Darx was confused, he thought he heard the twin’s names correctly, but even if he had them mixed up. . .
“Okay you caught us. I surrender.” Mary cried, putting her palms up.
“Let her go.” Maggie’s voice was low and forceful, not like her usual voice at all.
“Usofra, keep it down.” Mary said. Darx had heard that name before, but where?
“Take your hands off of her.” Maggie’s hand started to glow. A dark purple light forming on the surface. That wasn’t right. Maggie was an Acolyte, she hadn’t gone through the ritual yet. She shouldn’t have magic. Even through the fog his mind had been enveloped in since meeting with the Priest, things started to piece together in Darx’s head.
“Let her go, Wendy.” Darx said.
“But Darx.” Wendy answered, understandably unfazed by the threat of magic.
“Do it Wendy.” Neku said, Wendy looked to Neku and let Mary go.
“Now get Darx.” Neku said to Wendy.
“You all hold still.” Imposter Maggie threatened, her voice ****.
“Oh shove it Usofra. Can’t you see we’re past that.” Mary replied.
Wendy walked to Darx, hugged him.
Darx’s head cleared. “Thank you, Wendy. I’m sorry I was. . . distracted.”
“It’s okay, I understand.” She was holding him, and as his need to make her fall in love with him faded, Darx still found being in her arms quite nice.
“Now, what is going on here?” Darx demanded as Wendy released him.
“That’s not the twins, Darx. They are acting wrong.” Neku stated.
‘Mary’ still had her hands up. “I can explain.”
“Do it quickly.” Darx said, content to let her show her hand.
“Actually,” The fake Mary said, “I think at this point I should just show you.”
“No, sister, don’t.” Maggie pleaded, but it was too late. Mary was gone, in her place was Namy. The demon that had taken Caroline’s place, that had killed Caroline and the Duke as well.

“Namy.” Darx said. “And who’s your friend?”
“Namy, no. . .” The other one pleaded.
“Sorry, Sis.” Namy said. “You need to drop it.”
If looks could kill, Namy would have ceased to exist right then, but instead the remaining twin shifted and a second female demon stood in front of him. Her horns were more prominent than Namy’s, but her face looked less like a demon, almost like an elf. She was possibly even more attractive than Namy. The demon called Usofra smiled at him and Darx felt the danger in her gaze. Her expression was so serious, but her eyes promised him things, forbidden pleasures, the kind a man didn’t easily walk away from. Darx felt drawn to her immediately.

“Usofra, stop. That’s not why we are here.” Namy said.
“Then why are we here Namy?” Usofra asked, stepping back from Darx. The moment she broke eye contact Darx felt his head spin a little, like he had been under a spell.
“Yes, Namy,” Neku asked, emphasizing her name, “You’ve impersonated me, and now the twins. Why are you here? What do you want with Darx?”
Namy looked at Neku, then Wendy, then Darx. “You trust these two?” She asked him.
“As much as I trust anyone.” Darx said without hesitation.
Namy laughed, “I can believe it. You have such foolish faith in women.” She taunted, but then raising her hands to convey she meant no offense she continued, “But that, of course, is your choice. Do you remember what I warned you of?” She asked as she walked over and leaned back against the edge of the table.
“Yes.” Darx answered. “My enemies.”
“And now I find you here. In this church, choosing to be with them.” Namy said accusatorily.
“It was the best option I had at the time.” Darx replied. “Besides, the church isn’t the only dangerous thing in this building right now. Where are the twins? The girls whose appearance you stole. What did you do to them?”
“They are fine Darx, just sleeping.” Namy responded.
“Promise me, because if they aren’t. . .”
Usofra cut Darx off. “I assure you they are safe. And Namy won’t be killing any more humans. Not if you cooperate with us.”
Namy looked annoyed. “Yes, Darx. I promise. I won’t hurt any ‘innocent’ humans. Unlike your friends in the church.”
“They aren’t my friends, but I need them." He replied. "Much as you seem to need me.”
“What about the energy inside you? Do they know about that Darx?” Usofra questioned, her tone shifting to be friendlier as she subtly moved toward him.
“What do you mean?” Darx asked.
“If you need the others to leave Darx, tell them now.” Usofra stated, walking slowly toward Darx, her movements a seduction all their own. Every step was hypnotic, even the way she moved her lips when she talked, she was intoxicating.
Neku spoke up, “We know about the dark energy. How it built up and exploded. What do you know of it, demon?”
“Usofra. . .” Namy said, turning and nodding to the other demon. Usofra nodded back to her.
“That energy, Darx.” Usofra stated as she came dangerously close to Darx, eying him like a predator. “The energy that is inside you, the energy that exploded from you," She touched his chest with one finger, "it’s the same energy the demon king has.”
Darx heard someone gasp. He was struck himself by the words. “What do you mean?” He asked, “How can I have his energy if he’s leading the demons?”
“Smart question, Darx.” Namy interjected. “But you don't seem to have any connection to the usurper Ziges. You seem to be connected to the real Demon King. We think it is her energy that’s inside of you, Zaine’s energy.”
That name. He remembered it. The Demon General, the Goddess, both of them had confirmed that Ophelia was really Zaine. But he never knew who Zaine was, Namy had even refused to tell him, just that he was the key to saving her.
“Zaine is the Demon King?” Darx thought about Ophelia, about Zaine, and he could feel the dark energy. It was there. It wasn’t strong, but he could feel it.
“Zaine is the former King. The rightful King.” Namy answered.
“So there’s two Demon Kings?” Neku asked.
“No.” Usofra spat it out as she turned toward Neku, finally pulling her hand away from his chest. “No, there is only one. The mantle of the king can only be passed through ****, and Zaine still lives. She is the true Demon King. Whatever Ziges has done, no matter how strong he is, he's not the rightful king.”
Darx wasn’t really listening. He was focusing on the dark energy, the energy he had been avoiding. He didn’t know it was Zaine’s power. He didn’t know who she was. Hell, she didn’t even know who she was. He drew on the power, trying to manifest it. It felt like a trickle of power, like a small leak in a dam. He could feel that there was more, he had felt it that day. . . just like he could feel it in his dream world. It was there, but he could only call on a tiny bit of it.
“Oh, yess,” Usofra suddenly hissed. “You feel it Namy?”
“I don’t feel anything Usofra, I don’t have your senses.” Namy seemed upset by that.
“You can feel her Darx." Usofra spoke, coming back to him, her hand finding his chest. "That energy, it’s feels just like her. She’s still alive.”
“Fuck.” Neku said, gripping her spear tighter. “Demon King power? Darx, that doesn’t sound good.”
Namy scoffed, “Only in the hands of someone unworthy, someone like Ziges.” She spat out the name with obvious disgust.
Wendy stepped forward. “Wait. Is this real? You’re here because you think Darx has energy like the former Demon King? That it lives inside him, and she’s still alive?” Wendy sounded incredulous.
“I know she’s alive.” Usofra spoke with conviction. “When he slept, I saw her in his head. She was talking to him, calling him to her.”
They all looked at Darx. He couldn’t believe what the demon had just said.
“You saw her?” He asked, stunned. “You were there?” Darx started pacing. “Wait, I think I remember that. We weren’t alone, someone was watching. That was you?” Darx questioned.
“That was me.” Usofra confirmed.
“She’s fading, Usofra.” Darx said, coming back to her. “She kept asking me to find her, but I haven’t seen her since I came back. Not since we escaped the portal.” Suddenly it dawned on him. “Not since the Goddess sealed my darkness away.”
Everyone was quiet at that one.
“Wait, Darx. . .” Wendy started, “You mean it’s real?” Wendy’s voice practically squeaked. “Do you hear yourself Darx? The Goddess, Imris herself, sealed away the power of the former Demon King inside you?” Wendy was on the verge of freaking out, “Who the hell are you Darx?”
“He’s the heir of Zrephia Wendy.” Neku answered. “The Priest may be corrupt, but that part is definitely true. Darx is the real deal.”
“Yes, but demon power?” Wendy asked “How does that make sense?”
“There’s a lot people don’t know about Zrephia, Wendy.” Neku said.
“I-I shouldn’t be here.” Wendy said, and started moving to the door.
“No, Wendy.” Neku said, grabbing her. “Can’t you see? Look around you. This is why Darx needs you. It isn’t just the church he needs protection from.”
“She’s right.” Usofra said, “The Usurper will hear of him. Even if he doesn’t know about Darx’s connection to Zaine, Ziges will want him dead.”
“That’s too much, I can’t. . .” Wendy was a mess.
“Look at me child.” Namy said, one of her long claw-like fingernails gently lifting Wendy’s chin. “If Darx can lead us to Zaine, this war ends. She’ll defeat the usurper, bring order back to our people.”
“Damn, that certainly fits the prophecy. Even if it isn’t how the church teaches it.” Neku said. Namy looked thoughtful as she sat down on the bed.
“At the least, it would start a civil war in the demon kingdom. That would buy us a lot of time.” Darx said.
“So you’ll come with us, lead us to Zaine?” Namy asked.
“It’ll take time. There’s so much to do.” He replied.
“We don’t have time, Darx.” Usofra stated. “I could sense how weak she was back in the cave. That was almost a year ago.”
“I’m sorry, Usofra.” Darx said, thoughtful. “I can’t just run off. I want to help Zaine, believe me. She’s helped me so many times. I want to free her, but I have things I need to do here first.”
“Like what?” Namy asked judgmentally.
“The main thing is the upcoming ritual.” Darx offered. “The Goddess asked me to meet her then, at the circle. I intend to be there.”
“That’s almost a month away. We have to wait a month?” Usofra said, starting to pace.
“Yes,” Darx answered. “Imris knows things she couldn’t tell me then. I can talk to her more at the ritual. She told me the path that Zaine puts me on takes me away from her, that the link between us needs to disappear. I need to know more.”
“Are you sure you can trust this goddess?” Usofra asked, she seemed to be asking it genuinely.
It was a good question too. He felt he knew Zaine. Felt like he knew something of Imris, but he’d trusted people before.
“Honestly?” He said, looking around the room. “I don’t know if I should trust anyone anymore.”
Neku looked heartbroken, but was the first to speak. “That’s understandable Darx, everything considered.”
That statement seemed to end the conversation. Then Usofra twitched, looked to the door. “Quick, Namy.” She whispered. Darx looked over, saw the last parts of Usofra shift back into Maggie. He looked towards Namy, and Mary was there. Both of them were naked.
“Damn.” Darx said before he could catch himself. The twins looked incredible. They were also moving. In a flash he was pushed on the bed, his pants pulled down and by the time he realized what was happening, the door was being pushed open and he had two girls sucking his dick, both of them moaning softly.
“I’m sorry to interrupt, but we received word there were strange sounds coming from your room.”
Darx looked, doing his best to look in control as his brain threatened to shut off from the sudden attention he was receiving.
“I don’t think there’s anything strange. . .” Fuck, what is she doing with her tongue? “about what they are doing.” He stifled a moan at the last second.
“Yes, very sorry. We’ll be outside, just in case.”
They backed out of the room slowly, then closed the door.
“What are you two. . .” He couldn’t finish, it felt too good.
Neku stepped over to him, her spear was in her hand again. “Alright you two, fun time’s over.”
Mary pulled off first, her tongue way longer than it should be.
“Okay, I see it.” Namy stated. "You taste way too good for a human."
Maggie, or Usofra rather, didn’t stop.
“I told you to stop demon.” Neku said more forcefully.
Namy pulled her off.
“Please,” Usofra begged, “my King.”
Darx looked down at the demon kneeling before him, Usofra. Tears were running down her face.
Namy picked her up, held her.
“It's okay Usofra.” Namy said, stroking Usofra’s hair.
"I could taste her, Namy. It's really her." Usofra cried.
“I taste like Zaine?” Darx asked.
“You have demon energy inside you.” Namy said, turning to look at him. “I can't tell more than that, but Usofra would know.”
Usofra just nodded as she pulled herself together.
“The guards, they are still outside.” Wendy whispered.
“Fuck.” Namy said, looking Darx over. “It looks like we don’t have a choice.”
“What?” Darx asked, caught off guard.
Neku was looking at the demons, disguised as the twins. “If you two do anything to him, any demon stuff, you’re dead.”
“We’re Succubi, and I promise, we won’t feed off anything but Zaine’s energy.” Usofra said.
“You can do that?” Darx asked.
“Can you eat the frosting and leave the cake?” Namy replied, licking her lips. Her tongue was forked, and she made a point of moving each tip separately.
“I can’t believe. . .” Wendy said, backing up.
“You need to be in this, Wendy. Make sure they don’t do any of their, their demon magic stuff to Darx.” Neku took Wendy by the shoulder, started leading her back to Darx.
Namy laughed, “And how would she stop us?”
“Don’t you worry about that.” Neku snapped back.
Wendy looked apprehensive as she moved around the naked twins to get to Darx.
“Darx, are you okay with this?” She asked him.
Darx looked at her, “I’m not sure I have much choice. This is the path we chose.”
Namy walked over to him, still in Mary’s body. “Focus on Zaine Darx, focus on her energy.”
“I don't know how.” He replied.
“Help me Usofra.” Namy said in Mary’s voice.
Maggie’s face looked at him. “Think about Zaine. Think about where you saw her. The energy of that place. Imagine that place is inside you, and let it loose. Let it come to the surface.” She moved toward him, every step a seduction, every word laced with sex.
“Yeah. . . Okay.” He tried his best. Ophelia, Zaine, the darkness in that space. Not the angry, hateful darkness he had felt recently. But calm, comforting darkness.
Neku climbed on the bed next to him, kissed him quickly. “Come on Wendy, get in here.”
Darx felt something warm and slick on his dick, and another. The two demons, the succubi were back where they had been, their mouths and tongues on his erection.
“Fuuuckk.” Darx panted, it was incredible, better than what he had felt this morning or last night, even better than. . .
Syvis
The name popped into his head, this felt even better than when they had. . .
“No.” he cried. The memories flooding back. All the things he had pushed away. The good memories, the times in the greenhouse, in her house, when he trusted her. When she was opening up to him, loving him. With the memories came the abyss. He felt numb, dead inside, physical sensation fading to the background as he was filled with a desire for justice, for ****. . .
“Darx!” a voice called.
He opened his eyes. Mary, or Namy, was on top of him. “It’s too much, whatever you are doing, stop.” She kissed him, taking over his mouth with hers, she sucked on his tongue, hard. No, that wasn’t it, she was sucking on more than that, pulling his feelings out through his mouth. That, and her twin, on his dick, it felt so good.
The kiss broke, he looked to Neku, she looked worried, he didn’t want her to be worried. “I’m okay.” He said, unsure if he meant it.
Namy kissed him again, and it sent him over the edge. Darx came hard, and afterwards he felt spent.
“That wasn’t her, Namy. That was something else.” Usofra said, her face concerned.
“I know.” Namy answered.
He heard their words but he was so tired, he needed to sleep.
“What’s going on?” he heard Neku ask.
“That energy. It wasn't Zaine's. Zaine's power is there, but something else is too. Something strong. . .”
The voices faded as Darx slipped out of consciousness.
