Sue stays with Janet van Dyne

Glasses clinked. Sue Storm and Janet van Dyne clinked glasses. The Wasp's Manhattan apartment with a 15th-floor penthouse suite, all cut glass and discreet high-tech electronics. The two women were in their pajamas, on the big white leather couch in the living room, and sipped the champagne.

"Thanks for letting me crash here, Jan," Sue said, as she sighed and sank into the couch.

"Of course. Any time," Jan said. "Do you need to talk about it?"

Sue sighed and took another sip. The yeasty, bubbly wine slid down her throat and formed a pool of liquid heat in her stomach. The dark-haired, winnowy woman beside her wore a pink nightie that Sue could practically see though, and the Invisible Woman felt her gaze linger for a moment too long on Jan's nipples.

"I started seeing a new therapist lately," Sue said. "I guess that's where it started. I've been carrying so much stress lately. She thinks it's sex-related. Reed and I haven't been—well, you know—ever since Valeria was born. She actually gave me masturbation as homework!"

The Invisible Woman's laughter was a bit ****, but Jan sipped her champagne and said nothing. The slightest of blushes rose on the other woman's cheeks.

"Anyway, I told Dr. Stone I was having trouble—finishing. So she gave a prescription for these pills that would help my libido. I guess they're like viagra, but for women? Anyway, they work great. I could actually—you know, actually climax. And I guess I was doing that a bit too much, because the next thing I know the rest of the Fantastic Four is staging a whole intervention."

Janet raised an eyebrow.

"Pills, huh? Did you bring any?" she asked.

The question was both innocent, and not so innocent. Sue met Jan's gaze, and there was a moment of unseen communication as their minds raced through their friendship together.

And ended up with the little bottle on the table, two pink pills shaken out.

"Huh," Janet said. "No maker's marks, even the bottle is generic. You didn't get this at a pharmacy? She just handed them to you?"

"Yes," Sue said, and finished off her glass of wine.

"So there could be anything in these pills," Jan said, holding one up to the light.

"I mean, she's certified and licensed. And the building's scanners would have alerted me if there was anything too exotic in them. Reed has them calibrated to check for nanites, mutagens..."

Without a word, Janet popped the pill in her mouth. She washed it down with the last of her glass of champagne. Sue's jaw dropped, even as the Wasp reached for the bottle to refill both their glasses.

"Janet!" Sue said.

"You should take one too," Jan said. "The warning on the bottle only says to take with food or drink, it doesn't say anything about ****. And I'm not any sort of conflicting medication. This way, we'll know if its the meds that are the issue, or if your Fantastic Threesome are just prudes who disapprove of women exploring their sexuality."

Sue hesitated. But then, Janet was her friend. And she had been sort of jonesying for a pill anyway.

"Alright," Sue said, and swallowed the other pill. Their glasses clinked again, and they drank the wine. Unaware of how the night would end.
