They're on their way back

"I wonder if they've already started with the lunch for us...?" Brandon was just saying hopefully, when he was suddenly interrupted by the roar of a car engine coming from the cabin. From the sound of it - as the car speed off down the bumpy road - the driver must either be drunk or seriously upset about something, and it caused him to share a worried glance with the others.

There was four of them in total now - as Chloe and Gavin had appeared on the path while he and Vicky were just coming out of the water -, and the girls had both changed back from their swimsuits into their normal clothes. The only ones talking was Brandon and his belly though, and he'd noticed there was something slightly troubled about the newcomers, but decided not to try and ask them about it.

"What now...?" Asked Chloe - with a worried look on her face as she tried to scout through the thin streak of woods -, and made them all hurry their steps. Soon they could see that one car was definitively missing as they approached the cabin, and they could easily see the marks of torn up mud from where it had kicked off from it's original position.

"Zack...?" Brandon called out to his friend, as he was the first one to notice him standing in the doorway, and could see the troubled look on the other guy's face. For a moment he thought he could see Ashley standing right behind him, but she wasn't there when he got closer. "What's going on, Zack...?"

"Kurt just decided to leave us." Zack told him - with surprising bluntness -, but didn't give much further explanation as to why. "I don't think he's coming back for a while."

"Oh...?" Brandon might well have been the only one to actually miss the guy, as he'd only been chatting with him during the last evening, and never heard him say something lewd about the girls or trying to harass them. "Why's that...?"

"Because he's a fucking asshole." Heather filled them in - as she appeared right next to Zachary in the doorway -, and made it sound like the most natural thing in the world. Then she simply turned and headed straight back inside again. "And now, if you excuse me for a moment, I'll have to go grab some clothes..."

"Good call..." Brandon found himself mumbling, while catching a quick glimpse of the girl's backside, and tried to figure why she'd been walking around the house in nothing but a thong and one of the aprons from the kitchen. It sure looked great on her of course - perhaps even more so than the minimal bikini from yesterday -, but it certainly got both him and the others wondering...

Meanwhile, Zack exchanged a quick glance with Gavin and Chloe - which was all they needed to have a pretty good idea of what could've just happened. The sight of Heather and Ashley having a very serious chat in the latter's room only furthered their theories, and for all it looked like it might have been a clever move of Zack to keep Brandon and Vicky outside until the girls were done talking...
