Meanwhile, Ashley could barely believe her eyes as she saw her friend returning to the surface again, with that swimsuit suddenly breaking apart by the neck. She'd seen Vicky naked several times before of course - in the showers at school, or even at home -, but in her current emotional state it was a little more than she'd been able to prepare for.

Still she managed to get herself together with surprising swiftness however, and was halfway down the beach before she'd even realized why. Not just to get a better look at Vicky, she hoped, but to try and offer whatever help she could give.

"Hey, Vicky!" She called out to the girl in the water, and could see her turning around with a look of utter surprise on her pretty face - while trying to cover herself up with the remains of her tattered swimsuit. "What happened...?!"

"I... I think it broke!" Vicky replied with the obvious, and was really surprised to find the deep cut which seemed to have caused her swimsuit to break apart. As the garment was relatively new she couldn't understand how it'd got there, though she didn't quite have the presence to ponder about that right now. "Oh, crap... It's the only one I got...!"

"Well, you can borrow mine, I've got one in reserve...!" Ashley suggested to her quickly, before realizing that she wasn't currently carrying the same swimsuit that she'd been wearing yesterday. The idea of her friend Victoria in that sexy kind of garment caused all kind of images rushing through her mind though, and she could only manage a stuttered excuse when Vicky was already on her way back out of the water - seeming to accept her offer. "I... I'll be right back...!"

And with that she dashed away down the path, leaving her towel and swimsuit by the edge of the woods while running as fast as she could. It wasn't until half a moment later that she realized why her legs where carrying her so quickly, as her eyes wanted her to be back in time to feast on her old friend in that sexy outfit...

Chloe at the other hand had seen quite enough already, and while Ashley and Vicky were busy she hurried off towards the opposite side of the same beach. She still didn't quite understand what was going on here, but decided not to stay for another moment while her suspicions had yet to be revoked.

And thus she was soon heading quickly up the path to the nearby cliffs, where she remembered Heather having mentioned something about a look-out point. Hopefully she'd finally be left alone up there at least, with none to disturb her while she tried gathering her thoughts again...

And just a few moments later, both Gavin and Brandon emerged from the forest line to look out over the lake - having missed Ashley come running in the opposite direction. At first they saw no one in sight, but then the latter of them noticed someone heading into the woods a little further to the right of where they were standing.

Brandon wasn't quite sure of who it was, but immediately recognized the towel lying right next to where the figure disappeared out of sight. And so he didn't immediately tell his company, as he figured Ashley might be changing her clothes or something.

While Gavin hadn't seen the figure on that side of the beach, he did notice the other set of towels and clothes lying much closer but just behind a rock from where they were currently standing. And when he looked up to the other side, he also noticed a very familiar figure moving up the cliffs to the left.

"I think I'll have a look at that look-out point..." He said to Brandon, who just nodded soberly in agreement, and then they both took off in different directions. Whatever was the cause of his friend literally fleeing out of sight, Gavin decided that Chloe was of more importance to him than either of the other two girls. Even if he'd have no idea of how to deal with it - had something actually happened to her -, he simply couldn't bear the thought of not being able to be there for her.

If only Zack had been there instead...
