Invoke Kara's Issue

You explained that Kara was being pursued by some bad men, as Kara was curled up at the foot of Jeane’s bed, and as Jeane continued to cocoon herself in blankets. The reality was that you were getting a bit stir crazy living and training in the same cold, dark place every day and night. You couldn’t remember the last time you felt sunlight; except through the grates in the ceiling of the upper arena. To your horror, though, Heilan did something you didn’t expect. The girl used common sense.

“If she’s being chased by people outside then she should stay here where it’s safe. You, too. You’re all better protected here.”

You considered her words for a moment, then looked up. “Fuck.”

Heilan nodded. “Will there be anything else?”

“No.”

The dog nodded and walked back to her section of the room. “Uugh. Sorry, Jeane. We can’t get you that haircut…” You lamented. The elf sneered at you.

“I did not want one. My hair is f-” She paused as you circled the bed and climbed in.

“What are you doing!?”

“I wanna sleep here. The other bunk smells like boys. That gender sweats so much and it doesn’t even smell good.” You whined, stealing a portion of the covering as you laid down.

‘Then take any of the twelve other unoccupied beds! Also, will they not miss you?” Jeane was trying and failing to shove you out, but you were immovable. Inevitable.

“This bed’s already warm.”

“You are going to turn white, you idiot!”

“I won’t. I have Soma so I’m pretty safe. Also, Kara seems fine, so she must have it, too. Does she usually sleep like that?” Kara stirred just a bit, her ear twitching as her name was called. She slid up, resting her head where your feet were. Jeane turned to face you as you both laid in bed together.

“You think I would allow that creature to sleep in my bed? Heh. Besides, she tried that once and woke up feeling sick, so she knows not to.”

You point her out. “Then why is she sleeping?”

“Because you are here! She’s an animal, so she’s just following whatever her master does!”

“You… might actually be right. Fiiine.” You groaned, slipping out of bed. You pulled Kara by her mid-section and picked her up as if she were a cat before throwing her over your shoulder.

“Where’s she usually sleep, then?”

Heilan, who had been doing one-armed pushups in the background, stated. “Your attendant has been sleeping at the foot of my bed.”

“Oh. So- Pfft. Stop!” kara’s tail wagged, slapping your face as she hung over your shoulder.

“Is your bed pretty warm?” You grinned.

“I usually run pretty hot.” She switched arms.

“Do whatever you like, so long as it doesn’t affect my sleep…”

“What would affect your sleep?”

Heilan tilted her head up and gave a short nod towards Kara. “That.”

“Huh?” You point to Kara’s rear, her tail wagging less obtrusively behind it.

“To each their own…”

“Not ‘that’, that. As a whole. When I wake up, even if I move her she is sleeping around me and I am far more tired than I would expect to be. It’s cutting into my training time…”

You flipped Kara around, cradling her so you could make eye-contact. She was looking up at you.

“What?”

“Come to think of it, I woke up with you in my lap at the church and I was a bit more tired than usual.”

“Eh?” Kara looked surprised.

Jeane chimed in. “You are both morons. You are waking up tired because one of you trains like a maniac and you were sleeping while sitting up in an unfamiliar place. I sleep perfectly fine and I do nothing. Learn from my example.”

“Sure, thanks a lot, Princess.” You uttered sarcastically.

“You are welcome.”

“Are you doing something to us while we sleep?” You asked. Kara stared up at you innocently.

“Not intentionally.”

“Ah!” You dropped her on her ass the moment she indirectly admitted it.

“Ow!” Kara yowled.

“Why’d you drop me!?”

“What are you doing unintentionally!?”

“I’m just slurpin’ up a bit of your energy while we both sleep.”

You narrow your eyes at her. “Why?”

“Because I’ll have more energy.”

“You sleep all day, then follow me around the rest of the day.”

Kara crawled over to Heilan’s bed and slumped down. “It takes a lot outta me… “

“You gonna tell us ‘why?’”

“Because I’m a fox.” Kara said in a pouty tone as you sat down beside me.

“That’s my bed. I hope you both plan on moving.” Heilan commented as she switched to doing sit ups. You craned your head over to get a look at the sweaty outline of her pussy in her panties.

“I don’t get it.” You mumbled.

“Because you’re a fox you steal other people’s Energy?”

“Soma users.” Jeane clarified. She had gotten out of bed to wear her blanket like a robe. Her hat sat atop it. Heilan ignored almost everything, but you looked up at her while feeling tempted to see if Kara is ticklish. The girl had a ‘squishy’ look about her.

“The dynamics between my own people and yours is complicated, because while I can be a danger to normal individuals, those like yourselves with Soma that rivals or Exceeds my Aura are dangerous to me. If you were to sleep with me I believe I would still slowly drain the colour from you, because I am better than you in most ways.”

“Hah?” You stared at the elf incredulously, but let her continue.

“Logically… if this creature fled from my bed while curling up to you both in yours, and you are feeling ‘drained’ then it means that her power is in her ‘Soul.’”

“Wow.” You nodded along. Both you and Kara at this point were idly staring at the sweat stains pooling under Heilan’s breasts on her athletic support.

“Are you even listening!?” Jeane accused.

“Yeah?” You looked up. Kara didn't.

“It has to do with the Tri… Tr-” You didn’t study anything other than Soma, so you weren’t sure.

“The Triune-Figura. The Three Formations. Aura, Soma and Soul, which each create Potency, Energy and Essence. Aura attracts the Soul’s Essence, Soul attracts Soma’s Energy while Soma attracts Aura’s Potency.”

“The world has mostly Soma in it, right, Professor?” You asked.

“Dominant, yes, but there are exceptions. My people developed in a land that was contaminated by Aura. She is likely something similar.”

“Is that what it is, Kara?” You asked.

“I dunno.”

“Stop lying! Nobody has any secrets here, right Heilan?”

“If you tell me a secret, and it’s bad, I’m gonna tell on you.” Heilan informed you. Kara zipped her lips tight.

“I dunno!” She shouted more insistently.

“You think she’s lying, Jeane?”

“No, I believe she is genuinely stupid.”

“This is no time for jokes.” She stared at you flatly to say she was not joking.

“Got it…” You slid into Heilan’s immaculately made bed. Kara followed you.

Jeane’s eye twitched. “After all that you are just going to let her do that?”

“What can I do? She’s just going to curl up next to me as soon as I fall asleep.”

“She’s right.” Kara nodded from underneath the covers. You both watched Heilan stand up and adjust her underwear.

“I’m gonna go take a bath.” The dog girl looked at you both laying in her bed contentedly.

“Okay~” You smiled.

“Have fun.” Kara added.

“I’ll be coming back with my sword drawn.”

“Oh.” You slid out of bed. Kara yawned.

“She’s bluffing.”

You woke up the next day in a different bed. You looked around, relieved to see no sign of Kara. you were a bit shocked, then felt something flutter under the covers and lifted them to see that the fox was nestled up against you. You felt more tired than usual.

“Uuugh…” You groaned.

After getting dressed you left to go to the training grounds and do some work on your left-handed swing. Halfway you were stopped by the Guard Captain that greeted you before.

“Hey, uh, Liam?”

“I’m flattered, you remembered.” The man said warmly.

“Sure.” You nodded.

“I was alerted to the fact that you and your friends might be in trouble?”

“Uh..” You eyed him, then in acknowledgement of the fact that he was a guard you admitted.

“Yeah, just a bit. Can’t go anywhere.”

“If you want to go out, it’s approved that you can have some Guards escort you.”

“Ohoho. There’s an interesting option.”
