New TuRais Quest 20 - Main - Nah!
You did not surrender to temptation, despite Roy’s provocation. Kneeling down beside him again you asked curiously.
“So you’re really a prince of Teor?”
“Why do you sound so sceptical?” He looked up at you, laying on his side with everything out in the open. He seemingly did not care at all that you were looking at him and measuring his junk with your eyes. In fact, he enjoyed it and waggled his eyebrows.
“Like what you see?”
You mulled it over for a few seconds before deciding. “R… oughly. Yeah. Which Prince are you?”
“First.”
That gave you pause. “Upgrade.” You murmured to yourself.
“Aren’t you a bit flippant about making some random girl queen?”
“Yes. But, what can you do? You’re a noble, right? Glasian?”
“I’m from Cheshire.”
“Oh…” He sighed.
“Darn. Unless you’re part of the Duke’s family it’s going to be a hard sell, but I can make it-”
“I am.”
“Huh?”
“I said I am part of the Duke’s family.” It was his turn to start thinking things over.
“Oh… well… No, that can’t be right because the Duke only has-” His eyes widened.
“One female heir, and one female grandchild?”
“Shoot.” Roy furrowed his brow.
“I thought you’d be over the moon.”
“I am! But, it’s actually too good. If the last heir to Cheshire marries the King of Teoran then Cheshiran ends as a dynasty and it becomes Teoran. Which imbalances things. Reonglas and Carracel probably will complain.”
“I’m going to be honest, I don’t care about any of this.” You offered frankly, poking his horn. His he bobbed back as you did and Roy looked up with mild annoyance.
“What? Also, stop that?”
“No.” You refused. He blushed and moved to the other subject.
“Okay. Why do you not care?”
“Because Cheshire doesn’t only have one heir. It's his two. My brother’s alive. My brother deserves the title. My brother deserves to come home. I only care about bringing him back.”
“If you get your brother back, we can get married without issue.”
“I don’t care at all who or what I marry after my brother comes back. I’m gonna kick my feet up and enjoy the easy life.”
“Wow! That’s super shameless.” Roy chuckled. He looked closer and smiled a bit more awkwardly when he noticed you weren’t joking.
“O-oh. Alright. Well, where is your brother?”
“In the layers.”
Roy paused. He looked down in thought, then remembered he was naked when he saw his naked self laying on his side. The Prince announced.
“We should talk more about this later, darling. Though, I must say, even while opening up you still give off an intensely masculine air. Have you ever considered wearing some type of phallic device for the purpose of-” You grabbed Roy’s horn abruptly.
“Urk!”
“Have you considered marrying someone just to make people and then fucking as much men in the background as possible with your wife’s blessing?”
Roy looked up brightly. You thought you’d made a breakthrough, but then he shook his head instead of showing the agreement that he obviously wanted to show.
“That’s awfully nice, but that’s not feasible, because I am extremely straight. I have to be. The only things I like about men are their cocks, their bodies, their attitude and their-”
Your eye twitched as your grip tightened on his horn. “Literally. Everything. Is your brain soup? I’m offering an out.”
“It’s not that I don’t see the benefit, but as a future ruler I must exemplify the values and virtues of my people. Therefore I am only interested in women.” Roy said earnestly.
“That are like men?” He nodded.
“That’ll wear a fake cock to fuck you with?” He blushed at that.
“Ohh… Did I say something like that? Perhaps we could try it just a bit. Maybe… One, two, five nights a week at most?” Roy paused.
“Well, I wouldn’t complain if we did it more oft-”
“Stop.”
“Yes, dear?”
“What’s with the horns and scales? You didn’t have them before…”
“I haven’t even shown you everything. I have a tail, too, if you’re into that sort of thing.”
You rubbed your eyes, letting go of his horn to do so. He crawled towards you and into your lap to wrap his arms around your waist.
“Finnnn.” You stared at him. He grinned and asked.
“Tell me I look good~ Do you want to see my taiiiil?” Roy nuzzled his head into your chest and midsection.
“Your breasts must be very small to be this unnoticeable when you wrap them up. Well, maybe not small, because I did see you had them, but they lack mass is what I would say. You pass as a boy so well, it’s like-” The Prince gulped as he felt an Aura seep from your body.
“Hey…”
“Y-yeah?”
“I’ll go on the run. I’m not attached to anything except saving my brother. I’ll take you out.”
“G-goodness!”
You stood up. Roy’s fucked in the head. He needs to come to terms with the fact that he just wants a cock to suck. Being Queen might not be so bad if I can convince him to get dicked down by lots of boys. Roy grabbed at your ankle.
“What?” You stared at him.
“You were asking about my horns and tail.”
“I wasn’t asking about your tail. I don’t wanna see it.”
He pouted. “Aren’t you curious why I have these?”
“I was so annoyed I stopped thinking about it. But, yeah. You look like a Dragonkin.”
“I am! Teor Royals are descended from Ruby Dragons. It’s… not exactly a secret.” He claimed. That much was true, which is why it wasn’t strange to you. There was always a proud saying that the Kings of Trysk were descendants of Dragons. Reon and Teor, primarily. Those two cities took over all of their respective territories. Dragonkin were not considered in the same tier as Beastfolk. In fact, they were pretty holy. They were not holy under Mara, but under the Religions promoted by the two states Dragons were on the level of Gods just below Mara. Before he could add anything you begged.
“Can you get dressed and come outside before we finish this chat?”
“Sure!”
True to his word, Roy emerged in his Squire jumpsuit, sword at his hip. You were dressed similarly and waited for him in the training ground. He waved and jogged up to you, dropping his stoic, mysterious act around you even outside, it seemed.
“Should I go on?”
“Go ahead.” It piqued your interest.
“Have you ever heard the story of Leviathan?”
“Sort of. I know he’s supposed to be a Dragon… Really big.”
“All Dragons are big. When the world was forming, and life started to grow it’s said that there was no god but Mara. As life began to form, however, things started to pay attention from outside… Deam and other things.”
“What other things? I’ve only heard of Deam.”
“The other things are Dragons. Dragons were staunchly opposed to Deam. They were afraid of the greatest of the Deam that made their home in the Greater Stryf. Dragons lived on the edge, constantly avoiding the Deam when they could, and killing them when they could. As Deam started to visit Turais, so too did Dragons take an interest. They didn’t want the land to become taken over and corrupted, since Turais was fertile for Dragons, like… It was like a promised land sort of. So they protected it from a layer just beyond the world that we all know. That was as far as they ‘could’ go. Mara was powerful, and a protector of the plane against Deam and all other things.”
“Interesting… But obviously that didn’t become the case.”
“Correct. There were places Mara couldn’t see. Leviathan the Amethyst broke through on the deep waters of Turais where Mara couldn’t shine. Immediately, as his huge body poured through into this world from the outer layer, he used his power to make the seas his own… It was a disaster, because nothing could unseat him. His body was so large that it was said to wrap around the whole world, and to touch every single sea that was connected. He made himself at home on Turais. Made himself a part of the world against everyone’s wishes. Leviathan’s body itself **** the tides and the currents that now flow. That is the story of Leviathan. Orrans typically tell it with a bit more pride… But, that story is said to bring about the origin of us. Dragonkin.” Roy motioned to himself. You nodded for him to continue.
“The others were furious. Ruby, Sapphire, Onyx and Emerald were left out. They were jealous. They had protected Turais while being kept out by Mara. They attempted to break through in the seas, but Leviathan greedily guarded the loophole that he exploited. So, in a huff the Dragons spread their influence indirectly, like Deam. They waited and waited impatiently and eventually, when the time came they made a new people from the blood of humanity. Dragonkin. We are meant to be an extension of the will of our Makers, and we follow their word religiously, but the word doesn’t come down too often.” Roy smiled.
A thought crossed your mind. “Are all the Dragons as monolithic and huge as Leviathan supposedly is?”
“The originators, yes. Those that are the parents of their flights are at least that big. To have all of them on Turais would honestly… it would be a disaster. Leviathan was a fluke, in that he inhabits space that only Seafolk have to share, but the scale of him is terrifying…. Dragons are smaller in size. The offspring are smaller than the parents, but Mara still upholds the block. Only Leviathan’s children are able to swim the waters out of sight of Mara, and they can never surface, lest they be destroyed by her light. But… they are allowed to project a form into this world. Typically it is something that blends with their favoured environment and culture. These are like ‘avatars’ for Dragons and they are all projected from their domains in the thin upper layer. “
“Wow.” You looked at him.
“How much of that is true?”
Roy considered your question and eventually just shrugged. “I dunno. I think Leviathan is real? I think Dragons are real, but… well, I have to, right?”
“I hear you.” You found yourself thinking about Jeane. A giant Dragon controlling the tides and the trade for the whole world was just too big to think about. You preferred to dwell on pretty little things that you could humorously bother. You made your way down the opposite hall towards the minimalist female bunk. There were a very small number of female squires. As far as you knew, just Heilan, though there could’ve been more that you just never paid attention to. As you walked into the bunk it was similar to the boys, but empty. You surveilled it, then smirked.
“Gosh. Wonder where Jeane is.”
You spied a desolate corner where the bed, the covers, the floor and parts of the wall were all shades of black and white. It was leaking out steadily but appeared to stop at one of the wooden support beams that kept the room up. You patted it, then tried to look for the elf herself. She was nowhere, then you noticed a dark lump on the bed. You tilted your head as you stared at it, smiled and very suddenly lifted the covers. You were startled to see Jeane’s unimpressed gaze. She was tired with bags under her eyes. Her hair was even more of a mess than usual and there wafted from under the blanket a smell of unwashed elven female that was quite pronounced. It was like subtle vinegar and sweetness.
“What?” She asked coarsely.
“I’m here to lick your armpits.” Jeane woke up immediately.
“What!?”
“Just kidding, I’m checking on you. Why’re you hiding?”
The elf poked her head out and searched cautiously for any sign of Heilan. “That girl… that dog is completely insane. She sleeps four hours a day and is constantly exercising!”
“Hmm. What’s that like?”
“Imagine every time you turn your head you see a cute, athletic girl flexing, doing jumping jacks, breathing and being annoying.”
“That’s just me whenever I have a mirror.” You remarked. Jeane stared at you blankly. You waved dismissively.
“Alright. So… you can’t sleep.”
“It is also cold in here. All I do these days is read under the covers.”
You craned your head curiously to see an open book, but no light. “How?”
“You think a people that live in a land of shades can not see well enough in the dark? Our eyes can differentiate shades of white and black as well as you can differentiate colours. It is easy.”
“So you’re better at seeing shades, but we’re better at seeing colour.”
“No.” Jeane scoffed.
“We are also better at seeing colour. My people are supported from our inception by the Painter.”
“Kay.” You nod.
“You have no idea what that is.” Jeane realised. As she opened her mouth you placed a finger to her lips.
“No no, shh… I- I just don’t have the attention span to do this twice in such a short period.”
“Why are you here!?” She asked insistently.
You plop down on the bed and lean onto your side near her. “I was thinking of you, so I just came over to bug you.” You idly reached up and tried to run your hand through her hair.
“Lots of tangles, here, hon. You ever brush?”
“Obviously? But not on the road.”
As you two spoke, Heilan entered, sat on the bed across from Jeane’s to remove her boots and began to wordlessly strip down to her athletic, nude form. You both looked over and peered into the world of Heilan as the girl, accurate as Jeane described it, began exercising naked beside her bed and breathing. She intermittently flexed and inspected her own form. You eyed Jeane and shrugged, patting the beam.
“What’s with this? It’s stopping the spread of your corruption.”
“Do not call it corruption.” Jeane sighed in annoyance.
“But yes, obviously. It is wood taken from a forest with latent Soma.”
“Your nail polish is infused with Soma?”
“Correct.”
“Couldn’t we get you clothing infused with Soma and make it easier for you to go out?”
“These robes were, but gradually my Aura ate away at it over time.”
“So… we get you new clothes.” You lift a bit of her hair.
“And possibly a haircut.”
“How are you going to do that while you are stuck he-” Before she could finish, Kara snuck up and pounced onto the bed, draped half over Jeane. She laid her head down over the lump. You reached over and scratched her ears.
“Found you both~”
“Not that hard.” Jeane muttered.
“Are we going out?” Kara asked.
“Maybe.” You answered uncertainly.
Heilan chimed in from across the room. She was stretching with her legs spread. You took a moment to admire the view as she offered.
“You can sign up for patrols as a build up to ‘Service to Teor.’ When You get out there, so long as there’s nothing going on you can get your haircut and buy clothes and do other stuff.”
“That sounds a bit like it wouldn’t be strictly allowed.”
Heilan nodded. “I said you ‘can.’ But I would still report you. I believe others do it. Going out is a duty, not a pleasure. We don’t have full free reign yet.”
“Who says we’re taking you with us?” Kara asked defiantly.
“You said all of that in front of me, so now that I know what you’re planning I’m going to follow you and track you to the ends of the city to make sure you’re doing your duty. Kara and Jeane can take care of those tasks without you.”
“No they can’t.. They’re completely helpless…” Jeane stared you down sharply. Kara curled up comfortably on the bed with her tail circling her. You pointed.
“See, that one’s hopeless and that one’s delusional.”
“That’s not our problem. Unless there is a reason to escort them, there is no need to escort them. Also the conversation is moot because you’re looking for a reason to wander off and shirk your duty.” Heilan argued.
You sighed deeply and considered a few different excuses.
