Chapter 44 by Wrynn Wrynn

What's next?

Homecoming

"You're sure things will be fine here with your absence?" Elsa had adapted to being mine quite well. It was almost like she'd really wanted to give up power and was looking for any excuse to do so. After only a day and a half, she'd made all the arrangements she'd said she'd needed to leave her kingdom behind.

"Yes my Prince. Our people are very independent and never really needed much leadership from me. Things will be fine here." We were all standing by the door Ariel and her sister's had opened when coming here. Elsa hadn't packed very much, and Anna even less. Anna had taken the time while her sister prepared the kingdom to have a checkered outfit like Kat's made, only hers matched the color of her strawberry blonde hair instead of Kat's purple. The mermaids, of course, were still stark naked.

Mal and the others didn't have much with them either, though the draconic woman was carrying her stable gear. I caught her stroking the leather of her saddle, draped over one shoulder as I looked back, and she quickly stopped. She nodded back to me, clearly trying to pretend I hadn't seen any such thing. Ruby and Cass had the wolf gear between them and giggled at the exchange.

I turned back to the platinum blonde. "Okay, and if anything does come up, we'll still have some days left before we depart." The flight to Dun Broch wouldn't take long, but the trip down the river to Agrabah might. These were my last two trips before the exit. It would take something really big to keep me here past that, and I was probably being too greedy as it was, but I really couldn't resist a chance at Eden.

Opening the door that led to my extra-dimensional apartment, I immediately noticed a pile of waterproof bags lying in the entryway, the stuff Ariel and her sisters had brought from Triton's kingdom obviously. Made even more obvious by the item that didn't fit in a bag. "Tell me you didn't steal your father's trident?!" I called back at the trio as everyone piled in behind me.

I was answered by the three laughing. "Oh no, no no. Dad would never have let us go if we had done that." Ariel told me.

"He'd have thrown an absolute fit if any of us dared that." Alana agreed.

"Yeah, that's totally mom's trident. No one will miss it." Arista giggled.

I slapped a hand over my face. "You stole Queen Athena's trident, and you don't think your father will notice it's gone?" He hadn't attacked Arendelle while we were there, but that didn't mean he wasn't hunting us...

Three naked women snuggled up to me and I lowered my hand to meet Ariel's smiling face. "It's okay. Attina didn't want it when it should have gone to her, so it was just sitting in a corner of the vault. Even if father notices it's gone, he'll probably just think Alana claimed it as second born." Huh, well, that was okay then. Probably.

"Okay." I picked up the hefty golden spear. It was lighter than I expected, probably not actual gold. Maybe some kind of alloy? Or just magic... "Does it do anything besides be waterproof?" Not a speck of rust or tarnish on it despite the claimed neglect, and the tines looked razor sharp.

Alana nodded, looking excited to talk about it. "You can blast things with lightning with it!" I made very sure it wasn't pointing at anyone as she giggled at the look on my face. "Not very useful underwater, though it will shock whatever you stab with it. Mom never used it much, if at all, outside of ceremonies. Dad used to rage about if only she had had it with her when she was killed and really tried to insist Attina keep it, but that only made her more stubborn about not wanting it. He'd probably be happy we took it."

Huh. So another magic weapon, not bad, and better than a bow if it was at all accurate. I was also kind of glad the stubborn oldest sister who could stand up to the king himself hadn't signed a contract with the others. "You'll have to show me how to use it later, for now you hang on to it." I handed the trident over to the black haired mermaid. "Anything else I should know of?"

That got me a bunch of nods, and the two that weren't holding a magic spear let go of me and dove to dig through the bags, showing what looked like a lot of treasure. I swear I'd told Ariel I didn't need more gold and jewels... Alana just stayed snuggled up to me. The redhead was the first to jump back up holding a square sided, stoppered glass bottle that looked to hold about a quart of water. "It never runs out of water!" She said excitedly. "Not very useful under the sea but I thought it might help in the desert?" That was a really good thought.

"That's great." Better than Elsa trying to gather moisture out of the air, or drinking river water.

Arista jumped up next holding a golden lyre, that thing must be pretty old. Did anyone even use lyres anymore? "If you strum a few bars it keeps playing for hours!" Well they couldn't all be great. I made sure to pat her golden head anyways, and the bimbo mermaid looked quite happy.

The redhead was back with a big ass fancy looking conch shell that she had to hold in both hands. The white and amber spiral was also chased in gold and had a golden mouthpiece at the narrow end. A horn I guessed. "I saved the best for last!" This was better than the trident? "If you blow in this you get a much stronger blast of wind out of the other end."

That would be fantastic if we were sailing anywhere, might even be otherwise useful depending on how powerful a blast you could get. Hell even a nice breeze could be invaluable in the desert heat. I had to wonder if it worked underwater, how else would she know right? "That's great, you've all done an excellent job. Though I am more than happy Ariel that you brought me your sisters alone." And I was, ten credits was nothing to sneer at.

While the sisters were showing off everyone else had squeezed past except for Elsa. Even Anna had disappeared with Kat someplace. The platinum blonde seemed entranced with the bags of treasure. I guess Arendelle hadn't been much for treasure rooms. Actually they seemed to sink most of their wealth back into the town, good for them. Triton's people though had who knows how many sunken treasure ships to plunder over the years. I doubted the fish had much need for currency to begin with though so this was pure bling to them. A lot of what the girls had grabbed did look like jewelry.

Suddenly I was glomped on by another ravenette with massive breasts, who squealed as she was incoming. "Hey there Snow, I guess you missed me?" Not long after Ella and Rapunzel made themselves known as well. I really hadn't been gone that long... I kissed the blondes soundly anyways. "Good to see you too Ella, Rapunzel. No Hilde?" I asked Snow, fully expecting the queen as well.

She shook her head. "She's been spending time at the castle, though she stops by every morning for a shower." The ravenette giggled. I didn't blame Hilde one bit, modern plumbing was worth the trip. I didn't blame her for keeping tabs on her kingdom while she still could either.

I was ready for the next step in my journey, but I wasn't in such a rush I didn't have time to gather all my girls in the room that was wall to wall beds for a impromptu orgy. Wouldn't be at all fair to just leave the girls that had stayed behind with just a kiss before I was gone again.

Elsa seemed to really enjoy herself, I guess she was into girls after all. And her new control meant she wasn't a danger thankfully. In the morning when Hilde showed up we'd talk about who was flying out to Dun Broch. We still had plenty of time for Maleficent to fly us there in time for the tourney.

Time to add a fiery redhead to my harem.
