What is the next step?
The Dancer's Secret
Nissa held up a small baggy of white powder.
"What—is that cocaine?" Sue Storm said, utterly aghast.
"Crushed adderall and caffeine pills," Nissa said, as if that made it better. She carefully poured out a small pile of white powder onto the mirror. She used a credit card to carefully divvy it up into two lines. "Dancer's secret. Helps with my ADHD, and it'll help you focus and give your performance more energy. Better living through chemistry."
"I don't—I don't know if I can do this," Sue Storm said. "I can't do drugs!"
"You do drugs every day," Nissa pointed out, as she rolled a dollar bill into a thin tube. "Coffee? Drug. Aspirin? Drug. This is a performance enhancer. Not physically addictive. Just something to help push you over the edge, see what you can do when you're not so self-conscious about being naked in front of other people. You need to get out of your head and just dance."
The Invisible Woman frowned. She didn't like this. However—she had to admit she was curious. It wasn't as if this was really cocaine. They'd been talking to the doctors about putting Franklin on ADHD medicine. Certainly, Sue wasn't afraid to put anything in her body that she was willing to put in the body of her son.
Or maybe that was just her brain rationalizing a bad decision she had already made.
Sue Storm took the green paper tube and bent down as Nissa instructed her on the proper technique. One finger pressed against the other nostril to pinch it closed, tube hovering at the end of the line, a sharp inhale.
Her nostril and sinuses burned, and Sue only got about half the line with a single snort. Nissa made her try it again, taking her time. Then the second line. Sue fought the desire to sneeze as the burning drug seemed to fill her sinuses for a moment. The Invisible Woman was still sniffling as Nissa, a wicked smile on her face, guided the naked heroine back toward the pole.
"Now," she said, and resumed her seat, one hand cupping her bare pussy. "Dance for me."
