Lie to Blue

You mull it over while you walk back to the museum. The more you think about it, the more you figure that even if you tell him the truth, he'll just laugh at you. He probably wouldn't listen if you begged to never be sent off on your own in such a state of undress again. You'll have to just come up with some excuse to give him. You spend the rest of the walk coming up with the best excuse you can think of.

You stop at the top of the steps, taking a deep breath just before pulling open one of the heavy doors. To your dismay it takes you a lot of effort to pull it open, much more than it took Blue. When you finally slip through and step back inside, you find Blue milling around the gift shop. You put on a fake smile as you bounce over to him and hold his wallet out for him to take, with the hotel key card laying on top of it.

"Damn, what took you so long?" he asks. As expected. He snatches the wallet from you and immediately opens it up, making sure everything is still inside before checking his cash.

"One of the elevators was stuck or something," you answer with what you hope is a straight face. "It took forever for me to get up to the top floor."

"Damn, that sucks," Blue mumbles without even looking up from his wallet. After a few more seconds of counting his money he pulls out the needed cash and stuffs everything else in his pocket. "Let's go," he barks as he begins marching back to the ticket booth, expecting you to follow close behind him.

"Here's the cash, 2 tickets please," Blue tells the attendant as he slips the cash in the slot under the window.

The attendant acts as checked-out as ever as he inputs something into his computer and counts the cash. After sorting the money and placing it in a lockbox under the counter, he looks up at the two of you and motions towards the turnstyle. "Thank you for visiting the Pewter Museum of Science," he announces in his same bored monotone. "Please follow all signs and do not touch any exhibit. Food and drink is not allowed except for in the cafe area. Re-entry is not allowed. To re-enter you will need to pay for admission again."

By the end of his spiel Blue has already pushed through the turnstyle and you follow close behind. Once you both are in, you grab Blue's arm and ask him, "So, what's so special about this museum?"
