Goodbye?

As the sun came up, Leon awoke with Dawn asleep next to him. He took a moment to admire her beauty as she adjusted herself, her head against his shoulder. The blanket had slid off of her, showing off her naked body and Leon couldn't believe how lucky her was to finally have her.

Though there was something in the back of his mind that was bothering him. This whole situation with Aezeth and Wanda was making him feel conflicted. The other night when she revealed what had happened and then had incredible sex with him. The memory of that night made his cock twitch but also made him feel a little guilty. Wanda meant so much to him, but deep down he wanted to have sex with her again.

Leon rolled out of bed and got ready to start the day. Things like college didn't mean as much to him anymore. This new life he was starting seemed to make more sense to him as he headed to the kitchen. It took him a moment to find it as he still wasn't used to this new house. It was huge but it was starting to feel like home.

"Oh, good morning, Wanda," he said, seeing her sitting on the counter, wearing that black dress that he loved seeing on her. He was surprised she was already dressed as he found himself looking at her legs, even her bare feet, trying not to stare. "What are you doing up so early?"

Wanda sat there with her eyes glazed over as if something was bothering her. She looked up, making eye contact with him and Leon knew something was wrong.

"What is it?" Leon asked as he stepped towards her, sitting down on the stool next to her.

"Leon, I need to talk to you about something," she said as she took his hand in hers. "I've......... learned something. Something about me."

"Is everything okay?"

"I........ I am Aezeth."

"I don't understand? I mean, I understand that you and she share a body."

"I had a vision last night. I am part of her bloodline, which is why she chose me, but more than that. I am Aezeth reincarnated."

"I....... wait, what does this all mean?" Leon asked becoming concerned.

"Aezeth and I have decided to merge. To become one. No more fighting for this body because we will be the same person."

"What?" Leon said as he stood up out of his chair. "No, no you can't do that."

"I know this is a lot to understand. I'll still be me, because Aezeth and I are the same person."

"No, you're not," he said, getting angry. "She's tricking you, altering your mind. She's trying to convince you this is a good idea."

"I considered that, but deep down I know she is telling the truth."

"No, Aezeth, find someone else. Anyone else!" Leon demanded as his eyes began to glaze over.

"Leon," Aezeth said, her voice breaking through as she took his hand.

Leon's eyes flashed as he stumbled back. He had seen the same vision Wanda had in her dream last night. He almost fell as Wanda caught him in her arms.

"Let go of me," he said as he got his footing back and rubbed his temples. It was a lot of information to process all at once, but after a moment, he looked back up at her, tears rolling down his cheeks. "I can't lose you."

"You won't, you have my word," she said as she stepped towards him. "I don't know exactly what's going to happen, but I've been assured that I'll still be me, because she and I are the same. I know it doesn't make any sense, but I hope it does when it's over."

"When?" Leon asked, almost not wanting to know the answer.

"Soon, but until then," she said with sorrow in her voice.

Leon jumped at her, wrapped his arms around her, and held her tight. Wanda did the same, as Leon didn't want to let her go, almost as if he was afraid she would disappear if he did.

"This is all my fault, if I never got into that accident......."

"No, it's not your fault, it was never your fault," she said as she held him even tighter.

Aezeth began to feel all of this hit her at once. She remembered Calliope and the sacrifice she had made to save her daughter's life. Despite there being no blood relation, Wanda cared for Leon just as if he were her own. It touched Aezeth more than she expected it to as she began to sob as well, trying her best to hide it from Wanda and also hoping that when the bonding was complete, she would still be Wanda enough for him.

"I was hoping we could spend some time together," Wanda said, breaking the silence.

"As much as you want," he said, hugging her even tighter.
