She fights

Panic rushed through her brain and she kicked and twisted… and suddenly the man let her go! She had thrown her head back and surprised her captor, hitting him right into the nose. She heard the sickening crack of the man’s nasal bone and his scream of pain and then she was dropped to the floor.

The other man looked at her in dumbfounded surprise and took a step back. Events had taken an unexpected turn! But before he could fully grasp the situation Jessica reacted. Two years of combat training for her breakthrough role in “Dark Angel” kicked in and paid off as she swung her foot in a vicious, long arch, the tip of her sneaker burying itself in the side of the man’s stomach.

The man yelled in pain and staggered, but he didn’t fall and Jessica quickly looked around to assess the situation. Surprise element and some training were nice, but she didn’t think she could take on two men in a real fight, plus the stakes were too high for her to lose. The men stood between her and the way she had come into the trap, so that one was blocked. Her heart beating in her chest she turned around and saw that the alley apparently wasn’t a dead end. She saw dim red lights in the distance. Without thinking twice she sprinted away, along the alley, just away from the two evil men. She could hear them yell in anger as they picked up the pursuit, realizing that their prey was getting away. Panic raised in her chest again as she felt them right behind her.
