Ann... and a reluctant follower

Ren removed his hand from Kawakami's shoulder as she stood up.

"Ah! So many volunteers wanting to be hypnotized by the great Kawakami!" She declared with a big smile. Ren really wasn't used to seeing this much energy from her.

"Who shall I pick? Ah! How about you!" She said, pointing to Ann.

Ann smiled and stood up, then looked to Makoto who was sitting there with a frown.

"Hey! Mind if my friend comes up too?"

Makoto looked up at her, her face turning bright red.

"H-huh?" She stammered.

"Come on Makoto! You've been all in a funk recently given that stuff with your sis... Just come up and have fun!" Ann said, grabbing Makoto by the hand.

"Wait! Ann!" She groaned as she was pulled onto the stage.

"Excellent! Now my two lovely volunteers! Introduce yourselves!"

"Heya! I'm Ann Takamaki!" Ann said with a smile.

"Uh-- I'mMakotoNiijima..." Makoto blurted out quickly.

"Very good! Very good indeed! Now it is time for my hypnotic spectacle to begin!" Kawakami declared.
