Ren put Kawakami under again, making sure her skirt was adjusted when she sat back down.

"For this next part, I'll need a few more volunteers. I won't be hypnotizing you..."

He put his hand on Kawakami's shoulders. "Let's spice things up. Kawakami, once I remove my hand from your shoulder you'll think you are the hypnotist and you'll hypnotize the volunteers who come up. But for fun, you'll follow all the commands you give them but be unaware you're doing it."

He turned to the crowd, who were all laughing at the prospect. "Who wants to be hypnotized by the lovely Miss Kawakami?"

A few hands shot up, notably Ann's, Sumire's, Futaba's, and...Hifumi? She must have come to watch the festival. And while Hifumi seemed a bit sheepish, Futaba and Ann were waving their arms like madwomen.
