The wind blows her clothes away

After rushing out of the office, Melissa dashed through the parking lot, her clothing still clutched tightly to her torso. When she got to her car she laid down her clothes and purse on the hood and began to dress, but before she could pick them up a gust of wind knocked her purse on its side and blew her clothes off the car and onto the lot.

Melissa bent over and tried to pick everything up, but just as she did the wind picked up again and blew them out of the lot and into the road. Melissa was just about to chase after them, even risking heading into traffic, but noticed that her purse had been knocked off the hood and its contents were spilled all over the pavement.

Knowing what was more important in that moment, Melissa quickly picked everything up, put it back in the purse, and slung the purse over her shoulders. Looking around back at the road to search for her clothes, she didn't see them anywhere. Sighing at what seemed to be her fate these days, she simply got into her car and started it up for a naked drive home.
