Her parents have hid her clothes

Melissa drove through the moderate traffic, cringing at all the stares (and phones!) pointed her way. Eventually, she pulled into the driveway of her house and dashed inside, already having the front door key in her hand when she left the car.

"Hi, honey!" Melissa's mom chirped at her daughter from the kitchen.

"Umm, hi mom!" came Melissa's answer as she kicked her sandals off at the door, trying to sneak upstairs to her room without her mother noticing her nudity.

"I heard you had a lot of fun at the dentist!" her mom exclaimed, stopping Melissa dead in her tracks.

"I... I don't know what you're talking about," Melissa stammered.

"You were taking your clothes off, silly! And then you streaked the waiting room and took your clothes off again!"

Melissa didn't want to correct her mother that the first time had been a series of interesting accidents (especially if Dr. Jorgensen hadn't explained it well enough to her), and that the second time had been... had been...

Melissa snapped back to clarity, and felt the need to explain herself, her cheeks burning with shame and her juices dripping down her thighs as she realized that her parents knew of her... exploits at the dentist.

"It was all a misunderstandi-" Melissa began before her mother cut her off.

"No need to feel sorry, honey, I think it's cool! In fact, I thought it would be fun to play hide and seek with your clothes when you got back."

"What- what do you mean?" Melissa wondered with dread as she tiptoed up the stairs to her room.

"I've taken all those frumpy clothes from your room and hid them all around the house," her mother explained.

Melissa wanted to explode at her mother, but knew better. She dashed the rest of the way up the stairs, ran into her room, opened her drawers, and saw that indeed they were all empty, as was her closet. Exasperated at all this, Melissa just threw her naked self onto the bed in exhaustion.
