For just a moment, Karla's glasses did that thing where they caught the light, becoming two circles of brightness. Sue's instinctive denial died unspoken. Instead, she nodded again, suddenly agreeing with Karla's version of events.

"You are attracted to authority figures, Susan. Not to power itself, but to those who have power over you. I suspect that's the root of much of your stress. The sexual tension you feel in relationships with others, while being constrained by your marriage. You feel...trapped."

There was an odd emphasis on that word. It seemed to echo in Sue's brain.

"Trapped," the heroine repeated, automatically. Then guilt rose up. "But I don't want to betray Reed!"

"Of course not," Karla said. "But it's not a betrayal, really. Not if you're just thinking about it..."

They talked. When their time was up and the Invisible Woman stood up to leave, Karla surprised her with a hug. Not a long, lingering one, but a brief embrace that brought the color back to Sue's face.

As Sue left, Karla let her gaze fall to the heroine's ass, admiring the way it was outlined by her tight pants.

"It's a good start," Moonstone said, once the door closed and Sue was well out of hearing. "But by the time I'm done you'll be all mine, Susan Storm!"
