Spend sometime with Brittany to appease her.

"What?! No! It's just that... I have a lot on my mind at the moment..." You said as you are rubbing the back of your head.

"Like what?" Brittany asked you back while making her signature pout face.

"Like that guy who just came onboard this vessel. Is he dangerous or not?" You asked no one in particular since this is supposed to function more as a reply to the third daughter of the Williams family.

"Well, he did went through some fights for sure judging by his wounds, of course." Brittany said as she ceased pouting her face.

"So should we checked him out together then?" You asked her, wondering will she let him get some answers to calculate the possibility of danger from him or not.

"Hmm... okay! But first, you have to go out with me!" Brittany said as she placed her hands on her hips.

"You mean going on a date with you in the cafeteria?" You asked her back, knowing that the only place on this ship where they can sit down, eat and talk with each other like going on a date together is the cafeteria.

"Yes!" Brittany said with a cheeky smile and she immediately seized your right arm and drag you with her to the cafeteria.

Once there, you and Brittany grab some foods and drinks, sit down and eat while also engage in conversations with one another. As for the topics of the conversations, they are mainly about mundane things such as the living conditions on this ship so far and what the others have been up to.

Despite talking about mundane things, you and Brittany enjoyed the foods and each other's company a lot. After all, it is one of those rare moments in this new apocalyptic world where some semblances of normalcy are achieved.

After you and Brittany finished the foods, you and her leave for the medical bay and see that Dr. Lavarien and her daughter are checking on the newest patient at the moment. And from the look of it, he is now completely asleep.

"Is he alright?" You asked the Doctor and her daughter politely.

"His stabbing wounds are no longer infected and the burned fleshes are mostly just marks now. So the possibility of him surviving this is high. What left to deal with now is just fever." Heather said as she turned to look at you.

"I heard he came from the Flamemaker Tribe. Do you two know anything about them?" You asked, while pretending not to know what Heather already told you in order to convince her mother that this is the first time you and her actually meet each other.

"We... do not know much. But according from what I heard from some folks in the city called Alma, they worshiped sacred fire of sort that they claimed to be one of the greatest gifts to them along with companion animals and beasts of burden by the Lord of Wisdom." Heather said as she turned to look back at the **** patient from the Flamemaker Tribe.

"So I was right! This religious cult is clearly inspired by Zoroastrianism!" - You think as you're rubbing your chin with your right hand.

"... my Lord... my Lord... forgive... me..." The patient muttered with his eyes closed.

"He does not looked well..." Brittany said as she is looking at his current condition.

"He might be physically better now but his mind appeared to be needing more healing." Sarah said as she's wiping the patient's forehead with the wet towel.

"The Sacred Fire... the gifts... the Lord of Wisdom..." The patient muttered in his sleep.

"Maybe... we should leave him alone then?" You suggested and also hoping that the answer will be yes.

"That is the best course of action for now, I guess." Sarah said as she turned to look at you for a moment before leading her daughter away to attend the other patients in the medical bay.

And judging from her behavior so far, she clearly has no knowledge of you had sex with her daughter and might gotten her pregnant for sure. So that is a relief for you.

"Let's just go then!" Brittany said as she leads you out of the medical bay to find something entertaining to do or to explore the rest of this ship.

And so, you ultimately decided to spend the rest of the day with Brittany to catch up with her and to ask her about her pregnancy, which has been good so far for her.

But due to the fact that this is not a cruise liner and you doubted there might even be one around here at least in this world, it is a little disappointed to not get to see Brittany and the other girls in their swimsuits.

While you are accompanying Brittany to wherever she wanted to go on this ship, you begin to remember one thing!

You are now the Ambassador from the Kingdom of Utrecht to the Republic of Florida appointed by the new Queen herself! So you needed to think about what to do as an ambassador by thinking back to what you learned from the diplomats from the embassies of multiple nations back when the United States was a thing.

So you can only hoped that your knowledge according to your memory will be enough to help you and this embassy go through so that the Kingdom of Utrecht and the Republic of Florida will be able to formally established relations with each other.
