That is a surprise.

You felt your cheeks get a lot warmer at this kiss. This was pretty much the first kiss you received from a girl, and seing both the situation and how she went up to you to give it, you wouldn't stop them from being warm for quite a while.

Your mouth opened and closed in quick successions while your brain clearly struggled to comprehend the meaning of this. You couldn't manage to form a coherent sentence, and that wouldn't happen before a little while, but Aji stopped you from trying by putting a single finger on your lips, her smile half-amused and half-mischievous.

"To thank you for what you did." She started, her smile growing wider, as if she was already expecting how you would react. "I am going to let you sleep in my bed tonight, with me in it too, of course."

You couldn't refrain your cheeks to turn into a deep red now, and she laughed lightly at your reaction. Afterward though, she sighed, going right back under her bed's blankets.

"Good thing you didn't destroy everything with your Gift, it would have been an issue if you did." She said, her tone calmer while her ears drooped slightly on her head. She turned to face away from you, giving you without a word some space to undress if needed, and you needed some cooling down. So while you were getting out of your tuxedo and shirt, not planning on undressing any further, Aji added. "It is my first time sleeping in the same bed as a man..."

That's when you found your words again, anticipation laced with apprehension in your mind. "I... It's the same here really... First time sleeping in the same bed as a woman."

While you said this, you slipped right under the blankets, and just in time, as Aji, hearing your words, turned around to face you, her face lightly flushed. You guessed she was flushed because of the whole situation happening right now, which can't really make you more flushed than you already are.

"It feels... Reassuring, after what happened."

Aji only said that, looking at you right in the eyes, before quickly turning around again to not face you. You didn't know why she acted like this, but seeing how similar your situations were, you didn't feel like asking. Instead, you closed your eyes, letting yourself finally drift off to sleep.
